I for one would like to know the long term effects of some of this stuff. But that goes back to what i said before. We dont know. Im not saying we should stop looking for advancements, but maybe we should study them more before implementing stuff on a large scale. Just for fun, and this is true, did you know that cement is the 3rd largest contributer to co2 in The world. Weird fact, right? time2roll wrote: ![]() Back to the actual topic of the Tesla Semi.... Looks like the 500 mile version will be rated at up to 621 miles. YMMV https://electrek.co/2020/11/24/tesla-sem........lectric-truck-621-miles-range-elon-musk/ Excited with every upgrade or good news about semis. It would only but translate carry-over tech to Cybertruck. And yes, issues for semis are range, mega chargers and charging turn-around. That battery range can go non-stop SF to LA even considering the steep climb in Grapevine-Cajon Pass. |

All , good sorry for the derailment. I do like the concept, and just hope it turns out to be a good idea, long term. I know some love the cars, and the home power pack, and the solar panels. Im just not convinced the technology is there yet. Carry on. Ill go back to just following for a bit!

I was involved with power hungry cement manufacturing. Indeed, one enlightened factory uses cancer-causing wind turbine and energy cost drops down yuge whenever wind is blowing hard between the channels in that California mountain range. |

Some of the shorts are out again. Got them burned the last time. But it's their money. My brother is a. believer. He is a software engineer and he thinks Tesla can hit another pot of gold once they monetize their data accumulated all over the world with their Teslas. |

Is it the energy that causes the CO2 release or is it the materials release the CO2 when heated? |

Reisender wrote: ![]() Interesting. I looked it up and found lots of contradicting info. Do you have a link. https://www.freeingenergy.com/do-we-have........st%20component,to%2050%20mg%20by%202029. It was on one of the peak prosperity "crash course" segments. I skimmed through the energy episodes and didn't find that particular segment. |
