I pulled the clamps off of the black walnut, and sanded it just a little to smooth things out just a bit.

I keep tightening the clamps just a little bit at a time, trying to find out how far I can bend thin strips of wood.
So far, we're at about 4", which is about a 2" radius. If I had tried to do this all at one time, it would have snapped the pieces instantly.
Easy does it.

I must admit, I've struggled just a little bit for the last week.
I wanted to start working on the tanks, but I just haven't been able to settle on exactly what how I want to do them, so I decided to move on a little and come back to them shortly.
Still working on a couple of options.
It would certainly give us a bunch of extra storage inside if I moved the black/gray tanks outside, and just leave the fresh water inside.
Decisions, decisions. Lol.

Also if the Black & Gray leak, it is less of a mess inside.

I've thought of that, but then again, it won't freeze nearly as quick inside, especially without using any heat to keep it from freezing.

Tank and tank connections leak for a lot of other reasons other than cold. Not YOUR tanks, but certainly other people's tanks.

Thanks for the laugh. I certainly don't have any lock on leakproof tanks or anything else for that matter.
My main reason for wanting it inside is primarily so the tank doesn't freeze in cold weather. Hopefully, we won't be in those kinds of temps, but then again, who knows?

How about a nice collection of used acid brushes that I am using to apply glue?
Fortunately, they are cheap at Harbor Freight.

About those glue brushes. because I am so cheap I have found out that with paint, if I take my brushes and rollers and either put them in plastic sealed bags or wrap them snuggly in plastic wrap they will stay moist and usable. That is if you dont leave them like that for weeks. Another thing. Can you cut off the brush ends and make wind chimes? Just an enquiring mind.

Hey, I hadn't thought of using them as wind chimes! Lol. That should work.
Most paint brushes will work like that, unless Por 15 is used, as it is moisture cured, so wrapping them up doesn't work. I tried that.
As a result, I try to do as much painting at one time as I can with Por 15 since I know they will harden when I am done. Hence, using the cheaper (usually not foam brushes), from Harbor Freight.
I can usually pick them for less than a $1 each, for about a 2" brush.
On occasion, I have used the foam brushes for Por 15, but they don't last long, so it will have to be a rather short painting session.
