They are still holding strong, and doing their job, just as they should.
I am beginning to think that some of the failures on the web, are due to poor gluing techniques, rather than the glue itself.
I repaired a little clip for my wife's earphones, and that also seems to be holding up very well.
There is a little clip that holds the wires to your clothing, and the one "ear" broke off of that.
I repaired that with the glue that uses uv light to cure, and it's been holding up for well over a week. So far, so good.
I bought some and tried it on a couple of items... so far so good.

Glad to hear that. I think it will work well in some applications, that I have had trouble with in the past, expecially plastics.

Hope you are having a great Holiday weekend.
Ours started off a little rough.
We made a big pot of Chili, figuring we would have leftovers for a couple of days.
We used some dried kidney beans, which we soaked overnight, rinsed, and instead of cooking them, we just put them in the Chili mix in the slow cooker.
Fast forward 8 hours, and it's time to eat.
Low and behold, the beans are not soft, but still faily "chewey".
Undeterred, we ate the Chili anyway. Eating the beans was a little like eating Brocolli, which was steamed very minimally, and still crunchy inside.
Evidently, eating not fully cooked kidney beans is not recommended for our bodies. Both of our intestinal tracts have become fully cleaned out, over a period of hours, and as such neither one of us is now full of ****, (excrement).
So, perhaps tomorrow will be off to a better start for the week.! ![smile [emoticon]](http://www.coastresorts.com/sharedcontent/cfb/images/smile.gif)
Have a great rest of the weekend, folks.

When you talk about kidney beans and chili it makes me think that you have lost your focus.

Lesson learned: cook the beans separately (in unsalted water or beef broth), add to chili about 10-15 minutes before serving.
OBTW: I'm a native Texan who has always stretched out my chili by adding pinto beans. Beans are a whole lot cheaper than beef...especially nowadays. I save the straight meat version for chili cook offs.

Nope, but I did lose a lot of feces! Lol.
Yea, it was not fun. When you have to head for the rest room way to frequently, it makes is really tough to get any work done.
Should be back on track this week. Feeling much better by the end of today.

We usually cook them separately, but then again, we usually do not make our chili in a slow cooker, either.
Don't think we'll make that mistake again. Chalk it up to a "memory maker".

Yes. This is an RV forum, not a cooking show or a personal blog.

There have been off-topic posts in this thread from the OP for years. What's up with this sudden moderation? This has been a personal journey life blog dealing with cars, kids, and other random topics but mostly a carpenters journey though life.
