Moving on, to the storage door right next to where the generator was.

This is an inside picture, with a green circle with 2 screws sticking through. Those screws were holding the awning in place.

The red circle, as you can see has a bunch of water damage. Most likely, this was from the one screw leaking, that was holding the awning on.

And here we have the view from the outside, for this small storage compartment.

Down in the lower left corner, is a red circle, and is one of the two screws holding it in place. This one is the one that probably was leaking.

You will also notice, that all of the screws holding this door and frame in place are out in the open. No channel with vinyl to cover them up, not that it would have helped a huge amount.

No, have not found any boat cleats yet....

After removing the screws and pulling the door and frame off, this is what it looks like.

Notice how well the caulk held up, or NOT.

And here is the back side of the door, with and without caulk....

And then we have what is left of the wooden frame that this door frame was screwed to.

Here are 3 pics of one of the plastic corner pieces that was used in the corners of this small storage door frame.

Notice in the first pic, inside the yellow circles are not screws, but nails, which held these in place.

Here is a picture of the top left corner of the generator door frame. Obviously the caulk is not in the best of shape.

And here is another pic of the lower left side of the same generator door frame.

So, while I had this open, I decided to glue, (Por 15) the loose aluminum under the floor joists, back to the bottom of the joists.

As any wood worker knows, you can never have too many clamps. No matter how many you have, that situation always arises, when you could use one more.....

So, that is now dry and the clamps have been removed. I still have to add more aluminum there to cover up the area where the genny was, and where I added some joists, where there were none.

During the course of removing the generator door frame, and also the little storage door next to it, what it below is only some of the screws that I removed.

You never quite know which ones are going to come out good, nor which will come out a little short...

Rust, a little goes a long way.
