Here is another pic of that same piece of steel, but it is a different side.

Also, after a few seconds of sanding with the sanding disk in the drill. The far right side, does have some pitting, and will be cut off and not used.

This is the opposite side, and as you can see, the pink stuff on there is the glue Fleetwood used during the assembly of wall. That actually helped protect the steel.

Did not get to get work much today on the motor home. Had to help a family member most of the day.

However, I did manage to get the welder out, and put a few tack welds here and there.

Drivers side, 4 spots are now tacked into place.

Also, on the passenger side, got to put a bunch of tack welds, in place. Hopefully, tomorrow, I will get to finish the other tack welds, and fully weld these in place.

Yay!!!!!!!!!!

So, I got to work on the motor home today. Got the welder out, and guess what?

Yup, back to the box store. Ran out of welding wire again. Lol...

While I was there I picked up another grinding wheel, and I saw a diamond impregnated cutoff wheel, that is supposed to last like a tootsie roll - a good long time.

I figured for $15.00, it's worth a shot. Nothing ventured, nothing gained. We'll see.

So, that add another $47.28 to our already total of $704.54, for a grand total so far of ..... $751.82.

Also, got all the pieces welded in on the passenger side, above, below, around the Living Room window, etc that I had tacked in.

Yea, it took a little while....

But they are welded in. Yay!!!!

One step closer.

Well, after kicking it around for a while, I think we have settled on our floor plan, unless something changes, during the re-construction of it.

I had posted this before, but wanted to think about it for a little while. This should work for us.

This also should keep the plumbing runs short. That's always a plus.

So, I think the next step is to start moving the door, to the rear.
