Here is a close up of the receiver showing the welds keeping the receiver in place.

There is also a couple of green arrows pointing to a piece of 1/2" x 3/4" piece of steel that goes under the receiver, and is welded to both it, and the angle iron above.

This next pic shows the bolts that go through the bumper, into the angle iron above the receiver itself, indicated by the yellow circles.

The red rectangles show additional area of welding. At the top of the pic, is one, and that is welded to the frame extension. Even if I took out the bolts in the bumper, I still could not remove the receiver, because it is welded on to the frame.

That will require some grinding to get it off.

And yes, more rats nest at the bottom.

And here is a pic from the bottom side. More rats nest, and no boat cleats....Lol....

As you can see, it looks a little rough......

The end of the frame extension where the bumper bolts on, is approximately 4 feet from where it is welded on to the actual chassis frame.

However, about a foot or so from the end, this extension is bolted to the floor frame. That floor frame runs to the side of the coach, which is then connected to the wall stud that runs to the roof.

So, the end of the frame extension, bumper, and receiver, is partially supported by the sidewall and roof..... Who knew?....

Ok, on to the inside of the coach with the frame extensions. In this pic the yellow lines indicate where the extensions are, under the aluminum sheeting.

The green line is the last floor joist and is bolted to the frame extensions, and the green circle is the corner on the drivers side. Have a close up of that next.

The red line is the last wall stud, and yes it is not straight from the top to bottom, or bottom to top if you prefer.

So, we can see how the last floor joist is attached to the wall and the wall to the ceiling.

Close up of the floor joists, wall studs, and wall bottom plate, which is the same size as the wall joists, 1" x 1.5".

The green lines are flooring joists, and the red lines are the wall studs, and wall bottom plate.

And our last pic for the night is showing the distance between the last 2 floor joists, shown by the yellow arrows.

Most of the flooring was on 24" centers, if they did not have to work around things like the rear wheels.

However these last 2 joists are 35 inches apart.

In all honesty, there was not a whole lot of weight back here. The big hole on the right is where most of the shower was.

To the left of that, in the rear was where the bed was, with a little storage underneath.

Tonight I want to use some drawings instead of pictures, just to finish up how the floor, walls, and roof are attached, and then we can move on.

In this first drawing, everything is color coded. There are 2 black circles which will have larger diagrams after this one.

In this first one, the chassis frame is indicated by the magenta color at the bottom, with green on top of it, which is angle steel, with the gray braces to hold it in place.

On top of that is the red floor joists, which are bolted, (blue), to the angle steel.

At the ends of these floor joists we have the yellow wall studs and base plate which are bolted (blue) to the floor joists.

Up top, we have the yellow wall studs, are connected to the steel roof, by a green angle steel.

This next diagram is a larger version of the flooring being attached to the walls, or the walls being attached to the flooring, which ever you prefer.
