Good one.

Here you can see the Patch has come through the hole to the outside.

And a little closer.

After fully drying this will be sanded off slightly lower than the surrounding fiberglass and more Por 15 Patch applied on the outside.

That will give a "head" on both the inside and outside, with the "bolt" in the middle.

With a little sanding and smoothing, it will eventually be painted.

How flexible do you think the por 15 will remain when it is that thick, and it dries?

Should be just like fiberglass. In another area I closed up a larger hole, it gets hard, and I could not dent it with my finger nail.

POR 15 should start sending you product for free for all the good exposure you are giving them.

Keep up the good work on your project. Getting close to time to put stuff back in. Can't wait to see.

I'm not expecting anything free. Lol.

I've painted different things over time, and Por 15 is the first product I have used, that, after it's on, it doesn't come off easily like many of the products I have tried.

I heard about it 10 years or so ago, but never bought any. It's only within the last year or so, that I have tried it, and as you can tell, I am impressed, to say the least.

I also am looking forward to getting things back together. On the other hand, there's nothing left on the inside to take out, except the trim rings for the overhead vents, and the windows.

Now, comes the hard part. Making all the final decisions as to what products to use the re-assemble the coach.

Here's a pic of the front of the cap from the inside, just above the windshield.

You can see the wiring that runs to the clearance lights at the top of the cap. There are also some black "supports" for the wiring.

The white stuff is to help seal the holes from leaking. I am not really sure what that stuff is.

Here is a close up of the white stuff. It is some kind of sealant and it is hard.

Ignore the white "pellets", as they came from the "nest" from removing the white piece of fiberglass earlier.

Not sure the sealant, was fully doing it's job, but as long as the lights are sealed well from the outside, it really didn't matter, as the sealant for the light, would not allow water into here anyhow.
