Here is a picture of my old camper, I guess I will just do something along the same lines, I just don't want to climb on the roof or keep them inside, and the PVC tube route will require taking the reels off which is a PIA. I normally take 6 rods

I'll second the PVC pipe if you want to carry outside. You can rig the pipe to go on the ladder, on the roof or cross ways under the camper depending on length.

I carry my rods inside the camper hanging from the ceiling. When on the heach I have a cooler rack on the front with rod holders. I also have rod holders on the rear deck.

Are you wanting something to store them in for travel or to set the rods in while fishing? Are they one piece rods or do they breakdown to 2-3 pieces?
Mostly what I see for both is something out of PCV pipe.
Just me, I would lay them on the camper floor and then use sand spikes for fishing.

I know this is a long shot but I figured I'd ask,
I am looking for ways to mount my surf rods to the outside of my camper
I have a couple of Ideas but I thought maybe someone has something better
