Topic: Nascar Follies

I’m hoping pit stop times are going to climb to at least 15 seconds, maybe even close to 20 seconds. But the big money teams have been practicing these changes since October. They will be ready tomorrow.

As opposed to NASCAR.......

Still No Pole Sponsor.

Things that tough or is NASCAR'S marketing team and Brian that bad????

Is Richard Petty just fielding the one car this year, and does he have sponsorship for all the races?

Maybe some products/services that are in-tune with the aging fan base could be used for the pole sponsor. Products that help facilitate aging-in-place, products that help with balance issues, in-home care services/companies, medical transportation, walking assistance devices?

Looks like just the one car and they switched from Ford to Chevy. I've only seen the Air Force is sponsoring 3 races, not sure any other ones. I know Smithfield went with Almirola.

Petty has leased the #43 charter to the #51 team, and is using the #44 charter for the #43 car for their single car this year.

Petty is now an 'affiliated' third car for RCR racing since Menard has left the Childress stable.

I haven't seen anything other than the Jayski chart about sponsorship, but it doesn't look locked down for the whole year.

man was Bowman fast in the second round. going to be keeping my eyes on him this year. but i predict this years champion is either going to be Kyle Busch or Martin Truex Jr.(hoping its Martin Truex)

Well here we go again. Qualifying played on regular Fox, then goes to the dogs and FS 1 gets the "Clash".

I'm confused, Didn't the inspection cops bust on a lot of teams for ride height and rear wheel skew violations last season, but yet in practice and qualifying, I'm seeing cars with rear wheels poking out of the body and rear bumpers so low they almost hit the track and look like low riders? Is this the new 'aero' package?
