Better than any hot dog, burger, or pizza sold at the track. 5 bucks a pop. Two of em and a couple of Bud tall boys and I was good to go for an afternoon of watching the 150's during Speed Weeks! It was much more than the racin'...... ![]() |

Did I get this right....did Nascar take away the Richmond win from Joey? Not a Joey fan, but what next? Are they going to give this win to someone else..... Maybe they can just give it to Jr. Nascar=WWE (almost) "If we couldn't laugh we would all go insane." Arctic Fox 25Y GMC Duramax Blue Ox SwayPro ![]() |

The loss of 25 driver points pretty much negates the race points awarded. Not being able to count the win toward the 'playoffs' and revocation of the bonus points pretty well negates any 'win' to the win. Darn that axle skew......... ![]() |

IMO it's too soon be talking about the "last laugh",.....many more races waiting to be run.

I've been thinking about this for awhile. You know the different stages during a race that Brian started, could that coincide with "staged racing"? Just wondering.

Well, you can call it what you want, but all NASCAR is trying to do is change the format and/or the rules such that the show might produce some semblance of real racing. But, most of us know that they've allowed the performance of the racecars to achieve a high "point of no return",....PLUS they run them on "flat out" superspeedways, and this combination makes it unlikely that we'll ever get to see real racing. In other words, they're stuck with what they have, and coupled with other developments, it's a matter of how many more years they can stay in business. I'll just continue to turn on the TV (affordable entertainment) and enjoy whatever they dish until the end. |

Talladega! Beautiful weather, HUGE crowd, my man's steady in the top five, and very typical lack of some real racing. We'll just have to wait for the first "the big one"... ![]() |
