Spare cash, My wife takes care of that. I took the pic of the Honda because I got more than a few questions on whether it would fit there or not. It wouldn't without mods. It fits fine in the huge basement. I took a few panels out or off because I was checking on where I would run wires for the TV's and inverter. I will be putting 4 6 volt batts in the gen compartment and 2 6 volts in the batt compartment. The 4k inverter will go in the main basement. It has a auto transfer switch built in so the 120 volt will run thru it. It is a pure sine wave and will run the whole coach. I will still carry one of the Hondas for hours of use with the AC or FP. Thank you for posting the pics, I lack certain skills. I also like the comments you added to the pics. The dealership gave me the TL add ons because my FG would not reach. I bought those a few years ago. * This post was edited 02/14/17 09:10am by zb39 * 2017 Host mammoth, sold 49 states, 41 National Parks, 7 Provinces 2019 2 door Rubicon 6 spd. 2019 Berkshire XLT 45B 2022 Host Cascade 2021 Ram 5500 Air ride |

I was also crawling around in the basement and this TC came with a auto transfer switch already. I do not know why. Because the inverter has one I will be removing it.

brinson wrote: Bedlam, is this leather or ultra leather? I believe it is the ultra leather like what I had in my Weekend Warrior toy hauler. It wears better than real leather and requires less care or upkeep. I've mentioned it before, but I wish Host would relocate the exterior shower to a non-electrical bay or dedicated cutout. Also, I found having a quick disconnect at the shower is much handier than a fixed hose. |

The hose on mine was hand tight so I already un screwed it and took it off. I will carry it if I need it. I will just screw it back on. I took that panel off to look at the incoming 120v line. There is room under there to make the compartment taller, but it would be close as to whether you could get a Honda in there or not, prob be easier to extend the bottom down a few inches. Have I mentioned how quick the slides are. All 3 slides can be opened or closed in about 9 or 10 seconds. Doing 1 at a time. Way quicker than any MH I ever had. |

Zb39, Great looking Host and looks great on your truck. Now I can see what your host looks like on our Ram too! Any truck mods installed? DW and I looked at the host at Truck Camper Warehouse. Like the layout but was not sure of the toilet location and also thought the entry door seemed a little narrow. Congrats. |

Eagle Cap and Lance both have wider entry doors than the Host. They would need to make the kitchen slide shorter if they were to fit a wider door. To really appreciate how this all comes together, someone needs take photos while inside with all the slides pulled in.
