The Host mammoth is great. We had 3 nights in it and they were wonderful. This TC is huge inside. The fireplace is great and puts out a lot of heat, as does the furnace. We love the upgraded escape hatch. I didn't realize we were getting a great fan in the LR, the area lights under each side of the camper are awesome for doing things at night. The awning and light are nice also. Fit and Finish are very very nice. We love the leather, I like the fact that I can access everything because I tend to modify stuff. Overall it was even better than we were expecting. After loading it for the first time, with some propane and a few gallons of water, and 1 battery, nothing else. I weighed it. It came in at 34 lbs more than the sticker said. I was very happy with that. We then loaded all our stuff in and went to a great state park on the lake with electric hookups. 2017 Host mammoth, sold 49 states, 41 National Parks, 7 Provinces 2019 2 door Rubicon 6 spd. 2019 Berkshire XLT 45B 2022 Host Cascade 2021 Ram 5500 Air ride |

Once I get my 6volt batts in and the inverter and our usual stuff I will weigh it again with full water fuel etc. When I weighed the 1st time I filled up with fuel and then went across the scales. I will probably be over my 14k GVW but not by much and I will be under both axle and tire ratings. Rear axle 9750, rear stock tires 11,460 for 4. Front axle 6k and stock tires, 6130. Time will tell if we keep this truck or go 5500. We just don't carry that much with us. There is no way I will ever fill up the huge basement storage in this thing. |

zb39, ok though, you said it was 34 lbs more than sticker ... how much was the sticker for the dry weight? Where are the pics?

The sticker says 4276lbs with the options I ordered. It also says base weight of 3800 or something close to that. That must be the weight with only 1 slide, although I don't think you can order it like that anymore. I took a bunch of pics, can;t seem to get them uploaded. Maybe I could email them to somebody to post??

Go to the image and left click the image and press copy URL Go to the post where you want to load them and click the photo icon on the top of the message board. left click the box that says enter the URL and click finished. I have never been able to click and drag them. At this point the photos will either upload for all to see or they will be to large. That;s where it ends for me.There are other ways to do it but i can't tell you how.... Good luck and I can't wait to see your new camper. |

zb39, did you upload to photobucket? If you did, notsobigjoe info should help. 4276 isn't too bad. That's about 700 more than my 9 1/2 double slide.

ZB39 sent me some pictures to share with everyone on this thread. I clocked my Rieco Titan motors on the front jacks 90 degrees inboard compared to the stock location you see.![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Due to low forward placement of the tie down, this mount had to be added. The FastGuns come with quick links which would have also worked. ![]() That Honda generator handle has tripped up a few people. ZB39 seems to be working on a solution. ![]() ![]() ZB39 is getting all fancy with the leather interior and double sofa setup. ![]() ![]() ZB39 got such a good, he was looking where to stash his spare cash. ![]() ![]() Hmm, maybe I should just let ZB39 explain those last two pictures...
