I can get it at Camping World and the eternabond isn't as easy to get. Does it work as well?

I used it last year when I skinned a corner of my roof. Dealership store said they use it, same as Dicor, basically a generic form (I know, I know..dealership). At any rate, it did the job well, and seems to be holding up. That said, I've not used Dicor, so can't make a comparison, but I can't believe Dicor would be any stickier. It worked for me.

Amazon.com has some reviews on the Dicor sealing tape. I have never used it but, I do like their caulk.
So maybe it's a good product.

Personally, I'll stay with Eternabond. I know it works.

I don't know is Walmart MAC and Cheese as good as Kraft?
They both will make mac and cheese but the Kraft will probably taste better.

Walmart wants you to buy their brand.
The moral here is if you have a problem with a leak WHY CHEAP OUT it is false economy.
The dealer is lying Eternabond easy to get probably less of a profit margin to the dealer
Get it at AMAZON
http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_noss?url=search-alias%3Daps&field-keywords=etrnabond+tape
And you can have it Monday

EBAY

I dislike people who tell you stuff just to make a sale.

Remember this when you need service. If they have no integrity when trying to make a small sale imagine the result when the big dollar is on the table; be it service or sales.

Nobody is lying to me. THe hours the 2 places in Birmingham that have eternabond are open are not until Monday and Monday is no better than Thursday to me right now, whereas I can get the dicor today. Sorry to have caused the misinterpretation.

I think he was referring to my post about the dealership, but I didn't feel lied to either. I think people get locked in to the brand they use, and refuse to believe another product can be as good. My using the term "generic" probably muddied the water as well. I think Dicor makes a pretty good product too. As I said, it worked for me, and it was available at a time I couldn't wait. That's real world, not speculation or product loyalty. YMMV.

You should not worry about the Dicor product. I have used their patch kit and it worked well. Their tape should be just as good . Afterall, they make rubber roof material so their repair products should be as good.
Agree also that here people seem to be locked in to Eternabond but there are other products just as good and when you need it now it is not convenient to have to order some and wait while another product is available locally.

Yeah, I guess it would have lol but then it would have had to be pulled off and I couldn't wait until Monday as I had it exposed now. The Dicor is extremely sticky so I guess it's just a matter of how well it holds up now. Wouldn't have been that hard to apply if it weren't for those darn screw heads every 6 inches or so. MAde it really slow and aggravating but I wanted to make sure I got it down good.
