Thanks! There was only one other car camper there so it was quiet and peaceful until 4 am when the wind came in so strong we had to close our vents & windows. Definitely a great spot for boating, fishing & golf. [emoticon]

Took my grandson on a short trip for some one on one time. We did some geocaching, ferry ride to Friday Harbor and played darts on the beach in Coupeville. What a great time!!

We are at the sea, but way back inland.

The "sea" is Bergheider See, an artificial lake resulting from brown coal surface mining. It is near Finsterwalde in eastern Germany.

Very interesting! I was just reading about that a few days ago.

I think it’s in the Guinness World Records under the heading: “Biggest Dam Thing Ever”.
