Oh yes, the Cougs choke on a big one and Couged another game that they should have won.

Then yesterday afternoon the Hawks played (?) like then season was over. If you saw a BIG blue cloud from the southwest desert, that was me with all sorts of obscenities and unrepeatable phrases!! Then to top it all off, ALL of the crowing from the TV stations down here about the game is enough to make one gag!!

It was 68 today and suppose to be 71 on Christmas day!! Hope you all have a very Merry Christmas and stay as warm as you can!!

I hate to say it,but the thunderchickens must have been watching the cougs. That has got to have been one of the biggest cougin-it in history. There must be something about the cougs playing the colorado schools. Last year we went to homecoming and the score at 1/2 time was 37 to nothing cougs and they lost by one point to Colorado in the last minute.38-37.
I will say that even though they could have protected the ball better at the end,if you had watched it,it was the same guy and he was throwing a VERY nasty punch at the ball. Kind of hard defending that kind of a hit. They got to complacent tho. Bummer.
Hey twin, the list of things going wrong this year just seems to be getting longer. Had three trigger fingers repaired, left knee arthroscopy, a growth removed from my sinus with a LOT of side affects,a golf ball sized growth removed from the salivary gland and then chipped a bone on my foot that turned into gout. Now they want to open my neck up again to do a little more rooting around there. I'm starting to sound like Tradewinds now. Good Grief.

Twin, THANK GOODNESS I didn't try and keep up with you! Will probably start out 2014 with surgery on my right thumb (left one had a total of 3) and am going to try and make it a full year before looking at a new knee--it isn't bad enough yet. Pain management doc and his long needle at L-4 made my back feel better--series of three bilateral injections. I hope 2014 is better to you--and Tradewinds!

Hey David G. we almost made it thru the holidays but not quite. Had to call 911 for Sue two weeks ago. She spent the night and next day in the hospital but I got to bring her home. Will not go into details but I was pumping her chest as I was calling 911, scared the hell out of me and later her when she knew what had happened.

I worked from Thanksgiving to today selling Christmas trees as usual and my new shoulder held up great and the bad one did very well too.
My son is here now and Sue and I will be out of here on the morning of the 26th. Our home in Arizona is calling our name.

Merry Chirstmas and a Great New Year to all of you here on our forum.

Ho,Ho,Ho. I hope that everyone made it thru the holidays and have a good coming year. Looking forward to seeing a bunch of you at the rally, even if it's just a fun get together.

Hi everyone,

I hope y'all had a safe and happy New Year's. Pretty quiet here at the park in Jacksonville, but I hear they had a good party going on downtown at The Landing (kind of the equivalent of Seattle Center).

Well, I hate to say this, but I think it's decision time. Time to decide it those of you that are left as being signed up for the rally still want to get together or not. Nobody has stepped forward to be the wagon master, so unless someone does or has a better idea, Laura and I will donate the useful supplies we have to a group (a church or school, Goodwill, etc) that can use them, and the left-over funds to a charity (maybe Northwest Harvest since we primarily used the funds for food anyway).

I'm sure many of you are as sad as Laura and I are to see things end this way, but who knows, maybe someone down the road will have a bright idea to have a NW rally and start up new friendships.

So, LAST CHANCE, what's it going to be? A friendly get together or something else? Silence means you don't care one way or another, and I'm sure that's not the case, so speak up!

If we can't come up with other plans, then I think we should just cancel the rally and donate as mentioned above.

Please let me know what you would like to do. Thanks!

Sorry to hear this, but it's been a fun ride. We made a reservation but there is a pretty good chance we can't attend again.

This campground is completely overpriced for what is offers. Have been there to inspect the place. Not worth the asking price.

David, I hate to see it go this way too since we have been the rally master a couple of times but it does seem to be dying out. I will agree with you with the disposal of funds...My two cents worth...
