Tradewinds - haven't seen anything from you lately! How are the shoulders doing? Hope Sue doesn't have to keep wiping "you know what" yet!! ![[emoticon]](http://www.coastresorts.com/sharedcontent/cfb/images/biggrin.gif "biggrin")
We have been up at our KM park here in Birch Bay - Beachwood - the past 4 days. Today has been the first decent day, weather wise. Nice resort loaded with kids and Canadians from BC, but plenty big enough and things to keep everyone as busy as they want to be.
Will head back to FW tomorrow - Sat - for laundry and then down to Elma on Tues. to the KM resort there. Since Carolyn isn't doing any fill-in work this year, we finally get to enjoy the benefits of our KM membership.
Hope everyone has a safe and sane fourth of July.

Outta here tomorrow, July 2, for four nights at Point Hudson in Port Townsend. We're going up for the "Fourth at the Fort" and also spending either an afternoon or evening at the Fiddle Tunes concert on Friday.. Then I'm going to join Bob on the walking wounded list as I have two trigger finger procedures the following week,which will put me down for a week and then after Jeanne's daughter and the GKs leave on the 8th of August,I go in on the 9th for them to remove something from one of my sinus cavities and that's be another week.After that,her other daughter has invited us to stay in the driveway of the place they rent on the canal at Union for two nights,one of them we're babysitting, and then up for a couple of nights at Dosewallups SP and mebbee crash at Lake Cushman with the snowbirds..

Twin, I refuse to have sinus problems! I've got a trigger finger thing going, and have a doctor's appointment Friday to see if it needs help. In July it's back to the same left thumb that had surgery in January--this time to fuse it. I'm getting tired of this medical business!

Geez, I hate it when I don't click the right button so I get notified when there are new posts! ![[emoticon]](http://www.coastresorts.com/sharedcontent/cfb/images/rolleyes.gif "rolleyes") Here I was thinking everyone was on a long vacation, but it was just me.
We're getting ready for a trip to Disneyland. Laura is driving down with our son, his wife and 4 kids. They're leaving late Wednesday afternoon and driving straight through. I'm working over in Long Beach, so I'll just get a taxi or something. Then all 8 of us at Mickey's place for the weekend. I'm only worried about our 3 year old grandson. He's a little spoiled by mom and dad and can be a little terror sometimes. I'm hoping he doesn't make this an awful vacation. Oh well, it will be what it is.
When we get back, we have about a month to pack up the rest of the house before heading to Lake Pleasant RV Park in Bothell. Then we're going to use the house for a big multi-family garage/moving sale. Hoping to start that on Labor Day weekend and probably do it every weekend in September. What doesn't sell is going to charity (Goodwill).
I can't wait until October!

We are having our great grandson for a week and want to take him camping for a few days. He is only 3yrs old so I am looking for a campground that would be fun for him. Any ideas? Any help would be appreciated.

I would look at some of the KOA's. They seem to have pretty good playgrounds for the kids. The one out in Astoria was pretty nice when we were there about 10 years ago, but we really weren't paying attention to the playground.

I think that David's suggestion is a good one for a 3 year old. We love staying in Ft. Stevens SP right across the street from that KOA and it looks like it still is very nice. Playground and pool (I think). You would also have the old Fort to take him to and several pieces of military equipment to look and climb on. Also the old gun emplacements that he could explore. Great little and big boy stuff!!
Besides, its not that long of a drive for you. You could also get him out to the beach to play at the state park, or a short drive down to Seaside for free beach access as well as some other amusement rides for him.

Hey, has anyone heard from Steve and Sarah? I sent them a PM last week and haven't heard back. If someone has their email or phone, send me a PM. Please.
Up here in Port Townsend for the fourth and tuesday and Wednesday, we were battened down with pm and evening winds up to 45-50 mph. Man, we were really rock and rollinnn!!!. Since then the weather's been OK and is s' posed to be really good the next few days. Guess what... We go home tomorrow... bummer.
Oh, and they cancelled the fireworks last week and didn't take it off the website.

I'm going to try to get to see them this coming week. That is, if Jeanne will let me out after my hand surgery on Tuesday. I should be in pretty good shape for after 'cuz I've laid in a supply of good beer and I know that they'll give me some good meds. Ooppss..
