WOw, I now know it takes 23 hours to drive from Yuma to here. Kid is so glad to have me here for a month, NOT TRUE. Laura I am on the lot across from Lowes on Wheaton Way this year. Off on Wed. and Sunday.
OH MY, this is not a good day for Oregon football, the UW Dawgs are killing the Beavers and Arizona had the Ducks number too. The Cougs beat Utah and all is good with the world tonight....

Go Cougs. The puppies are gonna be their next victim. I'm gonna be watching the game in a sportsbar somewhere in Oceanside Ca with some Cougar alum friends.

Wow,does this feel uncomfortable. We're heading for the airport for our trip to San Diego and the MH is in the driveway and not going with us. Bummer.
I hope that all of you will be having a great Thanksgiving. We'll be staying with Jeanne's daughter, Monica and are going out to some of her friends for dinner and aren't supposed to bring anything except winw, etc.

Here's wishing all of our friends back in the NW a Happy Thanksgiving!
Someone here at the park organized a pot luck. The park provided the ham and turkey, and everyone else brought the usual to go with it. Of course I ate too much of a good thing. Oh well, it's only once a year. ![cool [emoticon]](http://www.coastresorts.com/sharedcontent/cfb/images/cool.gif)
The weather down here the past couple of weeks has been just like Seattle. A little rain, a little mist, a little wind and a little chilly. I think the past 3 or 4 days it has been warmer in Seattle in the morning than it has been here. It has warmed up during the day, but only into the upper 50's, low 60's.

Sorry Bigdog, but the Huskies whipped up your Cougars!! ![biggrin [emoticon]](http://www.coastresorts.com/sharedcontent/cfb/images/biggrin.gif)
FINALLY - the Dogs beat an Oregon team!! I know, I know, I'm late gloating on that one! ![biggrin [emoticon]](http://www.coastresorts.com/sharedcontent/cfb/images/biggrin.gif)
Civil War a fun game to watch - was really hoping that the Beavers would stick it to the Ducks and really pop the Duck balloon!
Saw that incredible Alabama - Auburn game and what a finish. Left me breathless!
Now, go Hawks on Monday night!
Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving. We had clear skies, sunshine and low to mid 70's. Ate dinner out in the Arizona room in comfortable temps!
We should be signing closing papers and getting the keys on our new digs down here in Sun City on Wed. We found a house on one of the two "lakes" here in SC with a southwesterly view down the lake with the White Tank Mts. in the distance and sunset views. We are very excited and Carolyn has her head full of color, carpet and tile samples!! Would like to start moving in before end of Dec. and have this house on the market as quick as possible.
Hope your all staying dry and warm!!

I'm home--where I've been basically stuck since the cold hit last Friday. I can't believe less than 2" of snow shut us down--temps at night as low as 8 degrees, highs around 25 until today--ridiculous. There wasn't enough snow to plow (and our town doesn't have street clearing equipment) and the snow packed hard in the freezing temperatures. We live on a hill and the kids turned it into a sheet of white glass with the sledding. We got around in 4 wheel drive in the truck when needed. Haven't had the Prius out of the garage. Warmed to 32 today and is supposed to be 40 tomorrow--with rain. Hope it melts before the rain.....

I hate to do this but Sue and I will not be at the Rally. No one has stepped up to take over from David G and the doctor today gave me a choice of two dates for my surgery. Since there is no way to know if anyone is going to and if the rally would take place or not I choose the earlier date so I can be recovered enough by August to do some things. I will call and cancel my reservation....Tradewinds

Bigdog,
We're here in sunny but chilly Florida if you can believe that. My weather app on my phone this morning said it was 45 in Seattle while it was only 42 here. Go figure. I haven't been getting the email notifications about new posts. Must have lost it somehow. ![rolleyes [emoticon]](http://www.coastresorts.com/sharedcontent/cfb/images/rolleyes.gif)
Tradewinds,
I hear what you're saying and don't blame you. I had hoped someone would have stepped up by now to take our place. Only a very big miracle would get us back that way to do the rally, and I don't see that happening. But heck, you never know what's going to happen that far out. I sure didn't expect to be in FL right now. ![rolleyes [emoticon]](http://www.coastresorts.com/sharedcontent/cfb/images/rolleyes.gif)
Is anyone willing to step up to be the wagonmasters for the rally, or do you all just want to show up for a good weekend of camping with old friends? I'm sure either way you'll have a good time, but I'd sure like to know what we're going to do with all that stuff we have in storage.

We arrived back in the wet and cold NW last Saturday night, leaving sunning and 80+ degrees behind in Jacksonville. Feels more like Christmas around here though with the colder weather. It just doesn't feel right being outside in short sleeves in December. ![rolleyes [emoticon]](http://www.coastresorts.com/sharedcontent/cfb/images/rolleyes.gif)
We hope everyone has a Merry Christmas and safe travels to and from wherever you may be going for the holidays.
And even if you're not going anywhere, be careful (Bob and Sue especially!)
