Michigan has just initiated a new State Park Reservation System (Nov.2013). They have included photos of each site within the park so you can see what they look like before reserving.

FYI some NH state parks do not allow dogs in the campground. Lafayette in Franconia Notch is one.But we have a TON of National Forest Campgrounds here, usually hookups. And usually well shaded.But Dolly Copp was rebuilt 2 years ago and has hookups, not sure on sewer but W/E.
