Thanks for all the replies. We never had the auto retract feature so we are currious to see if it actually works. I was afraid to pull too hard on the light covers but will give them a yank and see. Yellowstone sounds like fun will have to look at the schedule and see, so please keep us in the loop.

So, what is everyone's general opinion on The Road warrior RWT 3400, Well worth the Investment? Over priced? As awesome as they look?
I am in the market for one now, not sure what the appropriate price point should be? It doesn't appear to matter on mileage, and most models are fully loaded? But yet they range from $70K- $160K. I would feel real comfortable around $70K, but those models are gas.
Any body got any good suggestions or comments? Things to avoid when looking at them? Gas mileage on diesel? VS. Gas?

I have had several midwest manufactured really junky RV's
There is no comparison to the quality of the Road Warrior
Any dealer can service any motorhome and since they are out of factory warranty anyway it really doesn't matter that OEM is not in business as Weekend Warrior anymore. The same owner is still in business and is supporting the product.
Every one of the Rad Warriors I have seen sell over the last two years has had less than 30K miles and has sold for $90,000-$110,000
Book value on these RV's is still over $150,000

I have been out in the desert and missed this topic. I don't own the RWT3400, I have the RWS3400. This is the 5th motorhome I have owned and for handling, and power the road warrior is one of the best.
Pluses; with the six shocks in the rear this rig turns corners better then any motorhome I have owned, tow rating with the diesel is 8,000 lbs, thats a lot when I only tow a Jeep Wrangler. Power with this coach, I climed the grapevine 60 mph in third gear 3/4 throttle towing the Jeep. This coach has the best bathroom I have ever owned, it accuatly has room.
Neg. The cealing are high, my wife needs a steep stool to get to the cubbards. The outside compartments are hard to excess when the slides are out.
In closing, this rig was made to be used with no hookups and is ideal for that purpose. I think it is a well built coach that gets great comments from people who have never seen it.

Where or how does everyone wash this RV? We rinsed it off this weekend but know it is going to need a real bath very soon. Any recomendations on products (interior or exterior) or tools that make things easier?

Well I think I am sold, It sounds like exactly what I need.
There are some 2008 with gasoline engines. Is there something to be said about the gas model being a better unit if it sits for month long periods? I have heard a diesel needs to be ran regularly so it doesn't gum up?
If anyone knows somebody that wants to get out of a RWT3400 let me know, I am on the east coast, and all of the RWTs I have seen are on the west coast!

It's the other way around. Gas gums up if it sets.
