Hey all. Just bought a 2008 RWT in November. We love it and have been out almost every weekend since. This forum has been helpful, thanks! I just installed two additional 6 volt batteries in the compartment to the right of entrance door. Had to strengthen the compartment with some plywood, drill some holes for venting and cables and secure the batteries, but overall pretty simple project. Now i can leave the inverter on and make coffee in the morning without the batteries running out half way through. Next step is solar panels and charge controller. Anyone out there run cables from the roof? Recommendations?

Welcome to the family!
Im interested to hear about the solar panel install also. Pictures would be very nice.
its also interesting to see you call your unit a 2008 RWT. My unit was supposedly called a "2009" when I bought it, but it has the C5500 chevy unit that was built in 2008, and I think the MH chassis was added to it in 2009?, so its called a model year 2009?.
Ive also Been looking at my MH in the storage garage and thinking about turning the insurance back on and taking her out to somewhere warm.

Hi Theo, same situation for me. The coach is a 2008 model, but the chassis is 2007. I think this is fairly normal for RV's.

Theo Warrior, I was able to replace some of the Alcoa damage lug nuts. I order and purchase my at a Temecula Valley Rv Service parts dept, Temecula, Ca . (951) 894-2347. I had taken down the part number for the lug nuts, but unable to find them at this time.
