Yes I actually got my new head for free too. They made a design change because they were breaking easily. I found a local carefree dealer who ordered the part for me and allowed me to change it myself - saving the labor charge. I just had to give him back the old part so he could return it.

I wondered where you said you were pushing in the pin if you meant one or both. They are a bugger to push in for sure.

Ask here before bringing it in for servicing. We may have run into the same problem and it could be an easy fix before you go spending your hard earned money on labor and such.

Good luck!

Yes loose wires have been reported a few times. Enough that I would certainly look there first. You may also check the outlet that the microwave is plugged in to. It's somewhat accessible from the outside trash can door. Be safe and make sure you're not plugged in to shore power or have the generator running when you do this. I have my rig covered for the winter otherwise I'd go in to see how to acces the back of the breaker panel. If I had to guess though - I would think the breaker panel trim cover comes off from the front to access the breakers. May be held on with screws or just some simple spring clips. Let us know you're findings! Good luck.

Smitty2,

Apologies for the delay in responding. We have been going out at least twice a month if not every weekend since we brought our RW home. LOVE it!

We have a Duramax Diesel/Allison.

Just added in motion satellite, 2 golf cart batteries, and addressed scheduled services. Thinking of adding portable solar next.

Having some issues w/ jacks currently. I am now searching for auto level controller location. Any help would be appreciated.

Smitty is right, it is the lower front panel that I found loose hot wire.

The in-dash stereo that includes the screen for the backup camera is almost unusable. it gets extremely hot during operation, and most of the time, none of the buttons work on it any longer.
Also, it rarely gets any stations on it, unless I am right in town even with a signal booster and replacing the antenna.
Im thinking of sending it to manufacturer or replaceing it. Has anyone else had this trouble with the stereo?
Any recommendations on replace or repair?

I had the same problems with the in-dash stereo, the camera was replaced with the a new cable. Its work good since, I believe it was just the cable for the camera since the camera can be remotely adjusted up or down the cable must of been fatigued.
On the stereo, the reject for the CD will not reject my CD. I'm able to just receive local stations, because the antenna is blocked under the overhang of the sleeper. I tried hooking a sirius antenna to the unit since its set for that service and started sirius service, but I never could get the sirius radio in the unit to work. I bring my sirius radio boom box and the antenna on the dash with me on trips. Also the viewing screen will not tilt for viewing I have to put a spacer under the screen so I can view it. I always wanted to upgrade or repair it also.

I had the same problem with ejection of the CD
I found that if I push the reset button on the stereo and then immediately hope the eject button sometimes that works
I was told when I bought it if I wanted this serious satellite to work I would need to install a separate serious satellite antenna

Courtney: not sure what is the problem your having with the stabilizers. I know they have to be clean to operate. I ran into a problem with the stabilizers down they would not come up while dry camping at the desert. I cleaned the stabilizers and they worked and then sprayed them with dry lubricate when I returned home.

Can't say I've had any issues with the stabilizers. I remember reading in the manual (Ive read every manual it came with) that's theres a system reset option. I think you have to hold two buttons down at the same time. If you don't have your manual and can't find it online let me know and I'll go out and get mine

It seems Jensen is the preferred audio supplier for quite a few manufacturers. I've had issue with my tilt screen not working and having to push the in out button several times to mKe it work.. I think it's just ok and there are many alternatives available depending on your wants needs and expectations.
