Hi Logistic, Welcome to RV.Net! Thanks for joining in the thread here. Hearing your report and ideally seeing some pics of it on your rig would be great. ![]() Will you be using the Expedition or the new F150 to make the journey? What hitch are you using now? logistic wrote: ![]() Hello, I've been following this thread and the quality of posts motivated me to join the forum. I used handye9's last link to buy the Andersen model# 3350 4" drop version for $379. Thanks for that link! I'll be towing my 29' Cougar from Houston to Orlando and back next month . I'll post a report on the hitch when I return. 2000 miles should provide an adequate road test. Claton24V Nice pics. Thanks This helps. Although the size is over 640 wide. If you use the postage stamp icon it can size them to 640 wide for you. I see they are using cone point set screws to try and lock the chain brackets to the frame. They are trying to get a lot of bite to stop them from sliding. Look forward to see this on your camper. Good luck John |

I have been following this thread, and I just ordered the hitch. I will report back after this weekend. I will be using the trailer this weekend on some really curvy hilly roads.

Sweet. Look forward to your review. I should be picking my new trailer up on Wednesday and if all goes well can report then my oppinion of the hitch compared to the basic EAZ LIFT hitch I was using on our old trailer |

I too am looking forward to the real life feedback from RV folks... I have seen enough marketing fluff to last several lifetimes, and frankly am tired of it..

So I just returned from my first trip with the hitch and my first trip with our new camper. Total trip was about 70mi and traveling roads that I have towed on before with our old trailer and EAZ-LIFT W/D hitch and comparing the two so far I am impressed it is completely silent and noticeably reduces the bounce that I used to experience. Obviously more trips will give a better test but for the first impression I like it.
