Topic: So what did you do to your Truck Camper today?

Posted By: fishorgolf on 11/08/12 08:03pm

I'm thinking tonight I'm not going to do a thing to our TC. The last few nights I've reinforced some of the cabinents that hyper-extendented themselfs on out last trip 2 weeks ago. I wish the manufacturer would of glued the rear suports or at lease have the wood reach the floor where friction might hold it in place. AF now uses better drawer closers and smaller (lighter) cabinets. I'm going to eat my dinner sit by my log fire get reless and go work on the camper . Were hopeing to leave Friday os I better get busy.

Put up new curtains that DW sewed up for me. Think she hates me in that new curtains have no resembelance to current decor.Things are looking up! Toped off propane @ $2.75/g. Recent exchange swapped for bum tank. Be careful.

re-installed the filled propane tanks, stocked up the fridge, checked tire and airbag pressure. Still need to fill the gas can for the generator and top off the trucks fuel tank with Diesel and put my warm clothes on board by tomorrow evenings departure

Sadly, no, they switched to their winter hours and I'm on a deadline schedule now because of work related things, so I couldn't wait till the weekend to visit the rest.

I'll have to visit it again and again on my future return trips.

Winterized...yes even in Vegas. A valve in the hot water tank by-pass setup is leaking so it's time to do some plumbing work. Also bought some soft-sided storage bags for use in the fold down cabinet over the table in our Lance.
