One of the perks of my ongoing tour of the Pacific Northwest, are the recent Heavy Rainstorms. While I am often out washing the truck, camper and trailer during rainstorms, this time was different. I normally don't get this good of a soaker, until now. So I was up on the roof giving it a good scrub down and then multi hours of rain storm rinsing.

Finished the last of the new curtains/window insulation and finally got Honda Generator locking plate mounted to generator and base plate on the new cargo tray our kids bought us. Took it to welder for "personalisation". We're adding steps to the side opposite the generator and a custom solid receiver bar. Thinking about how to mount the bite rack in that mess as well. Might need to pass on that, time will tell. Had to take time out to process my husband's deer. Muzzleloader season starts Saturday so imagine there'll be more of that next week. Can't wait for our trip time away from it all.

I picked up my camper from the repair shop last weekend after leaving it with them for a week. They stripped the rubber roof off and removed the decking under the roof. They also removed a ceiling panel in the bedroom area of the cab-over that sustained water damage and were able to perfectly match another ceiling panel. They put on a 7/16th inch plywood decking and covered it with a new rubber roof and sealed it with a different and better sealant than what was on the camper when it came out of the factory two years ago. I was really impressed with their work and hopefully wont experience anymore damage caused by a leaky roof. I'll have to get up there two or three times a year to thoroughly check it out to make sure. I also had them winterize the camper while it was in the shop.
