Been there done that. It will not get any better and it will not go away. Replace the aggravating %^&*&^%$ and your problem will likely be solved,especially if it is 3 years old or older.

Some propane and smoke detectors have a timer in them, and will start to make lots of noise when they are end-of-life, even when everything seems fine.

Thanks Jeff. I am going to get a set for my truck! Are these easy to self-install?

I don't think they should be to tough. Perhaps tight locations in front upper bolt area. I think I would remove the old ones and install the new ones top first because it is more accessible down low. They are nitrogen charged so that might mean having to push the shock upward to get to the bolting connection points.

While on Alaska Vacation for the past month, we had the misfortune of having a Haines Alaska Shore Power "SPIKE" fry our Progressive Dymnamics Converter/Charger. We made the rest of the trip back to Stanley Idaho with just Truck charging and Solar panel charging of our two Trojan 6 Volt Batteries. While still in-route back I contacted Randy at Best Converters.com and had him ship to my home a Power Max Boondocker PMB4-60. Installed it yesterday. All is good now. I think the Boondocker will be an improvement over the Progressive Dynamics unit.
Oh and while I was at it I had Randy send mean RV Smart Surge Protector!!!

I upgraded the bathroom fan and realized why I didn't see any screw covers on the roof around the flanges for the vents. Lance uses a clamp down system (at least in my camper) to avoid putting more holes in the roof. I really like that! ... and now I know why Buzzcut had to put 4 holes in the roof to install the Fantastic Vent Fan cover... I dread doing this but will because I really like and want the cover over the fan. I'll still use a MAXXAIR cover over the bath fan though, as the mounting attaches to the sides of the raised flange..

Putting finishing touches on our new old camper. Installed ladder rack to function as elevated base for Tailgater dish and situated, secured, for use. Will stow in camper for travel. Finished new curtain track and curtain to replace awkward door arrangement, removed bathroom door for that change. Adjusted TV bracket to be more secure. Installed lights in two storage compartments and sorted excess stuff out. Made a doggie travel bag with all their gear in one place. New LED bulbs in all fixtures and moved microwave to more useable location as ours is wired on same circuit as AC and made a shelf out of the unused door in the pantry. Still have to install some additional insulation in cab over nose cabinet and secure some loose wiring in there,a wall mounted knife rack and a couple of cup hooks. No, not in one day, just all week. Be ready for a long trip after we do some deer hunting this month to fill the freezer back up. Deer lots of work processing, but trip should be the welcome reward for it all. Been working on camper in fits and starts since getting it in late June. Have been able to use it even as a Work in progress. Yippie, just about done!

I installed the 2 vent covers over the bath and fantastic Fan. and since I had the camper out of the RV port I also did some preventative maintenance with Dicor..

Removed and replaced the range exhaust vent as the flapper always breaks off at some point or another. I just wish the tips of the flapper were metal instead of plastic. I also added longer gutter extensions so that rainwater would gush out further away from the TC. Also replaced a broken door hold back and a 3/4" pop off and 1/2" plug in the water heater. I also replaced a cracked 2" plumbing vent in the bathroom which had leaked water under the vanity.
