why is it a 5 minute repair job at home is next to impossible to do on the road? I went to lift the self tensioning window shade next to the bed and the retaining cord snapped off its anchor. No problem just grab a phillips head screwdriver take it down retrieve the cord re-tie it to the anchor and screw in back in place...no leverage with a manual screwdriver..five seconds with a cordless drill at home. Lots of cussing retries and general frustration and 30 minutes later it is back up, just barely. I need to really drive the retention screws home with a cordless drill which I do not have with me. Right now at least the shade will stay up and the camper dark if I don't touch it, until I get home Sunday night. What a pain in the patoee

Sorry for the confusion, the home away from home is our AF990; I should have said 'remote battery monitor'. BBF |
