Unloaded more stuff from it and have performed a 60% disassemble of the old Redneck Base camp as I move out of my old site.

took two rolls of 16"x48'x2" fiberglass insulation and used it to block the air passage from the dump valves and outside shower to the basement space under the shower pan and bathroom to keep the pipes from freezing, next up is wrapping the remaining exposed waterlines with insulating foam and filling the rest of the space with fiberglass batting

also replaced the outside shower head (forgot to drain it and it froze and cracked, only $10 for another cheapie).

So as I got deeper into the dump valve compartment I discovered gaping holes and seams. no wonder the pipes froze and the TC isn't as warm as it should be. Sealed the holes with 3M Metal Foil tape then insulated over the refletix with R13 fiberglass. I bought used so I don't know if this was factory or previous owner.

and this pops in place and covers the outside shower and all the dump valves ( I had enough left over to cut a insulated cover for all the outside storage hatches).

Moved the last of my stuff out, my fulltiming days in the camper are now officially over. Next up after all the settling in in the Bighorn are done and she gets in her new winter storage home, she'll get a heavy cleaning and then repairs and improvements can begin so she can fully return to a her original life as my traveling rig [emoticon].

Thanks for the post of the insulation there, Buzz. I just did mine and used that expanding foam spray for the leaks in my camper, along with fiberglass batting insulation.

BTW, couple things I've noticed recently while camping this fall in cold weather;
1. I have ice on my roof and slide roof when there is freezing temps outside. The camper's heater is set for 65* and the outside temps are just under 32*. This tells me the roof is pretty well insulated. I like that!

2. Condensation on the camper sides has shown me where the support beams are under the siding. The siding will have condensation where the support beams don't. This may be helpful in the future if I ever want to attach something to the camper; I'll know where the beams are.

Cleaned my Fan-tastic Vent and sealed the vent up on the roof with Eternabond Roof and Leak Tape.

I was up on the roof putting my fly gear back into the cargo box when I noticed what I thought was dirt around the roof hatch over the cab over. It turned out to be dirty crumbly dicor. Ok so I got out the scraper, soap and water, nitrile gloves and a tube of dicor and went to work.

old dicor removed

after a lot of elbow grease, the new dicor seal in place

well it took me 5 hours today but I recaulked every seam and vent on my TC with Dicor either non leveling or self leveling depending on location and need.

Carried the new shampoo and soap bottles out to the camper. Everything looked fine. Going camping over the 3 day Veterans day weekend!
