replaced a gutter extension that got ripped off by a branch two trips ago. Resealed the seams around the area when I determined that they got damaged in the branch /gutter removal process. Dicor, I discovered, is a royal pain to get off skin while it is still tacky. Had to run down to the hardware store for some new screws after one had it's head snap while getting screwed back in. Finished the job in the dark by headlamp.

I added a dedicated 120V outlet for the B&D charger that I keep hooked up when the TC is not in use. (this picture shows a "Watt Meter" in line with the charger as I wanted to see what it used over a period of time)![]() And on the outside I have a receptical for the extension cord: ![]() In this way the whole camper doesn't need to be plugged in and the converter/charger running and wearing out the fan needlessly. My camper will sit parked for weeks on end. The B&D charger is a thing of beauty, always keeping my batteries in perfect state of charge.

Installed "BIG FEET" on my camper jacks. 12 simple round electrical box covers (.64 cents each) and a bit of 3M 5200 adhesive / sealant and the feet don't sink into soft soil anymore! ![]()

I had built a new table a few weeks ago. This is used when the dining area is converted into a bed or if I have my grandsons with me and it's raining outside:![]() But when I'm camping alone it is simply too big and in the way. I was wandering around Lowes and I saw they sell nice round table-tops in various diameters. I bought one in 24" for $17 and gave it three coats of clear poly....Bought an extra table mount off Ebay for $5.95 and vola! ![]() ![]() You like? |

got the truck back from the shop then took it to get smogged, it passed, paid the 2014 DMV fees. Finished redoing up some seams that looked suspect and the marker lamps with dicor lap sealant. fixed the screen door latch and removed cleaned and reinstalled the fantastic fan vent screen. Then I reloaded the camper in preparation for using it this weekend. I am getting really good at reloading, no more back and forth re positioning. The last 5 times in has been line it up in one move then straight back and lower it into the bed

It wasn't so much to the camper but to the truck. I traded my 2500 for a 3500 to give me a little more load margin. I installed the new Torklift frame mount tie downs, assembled the fastguns, put the SuperSprings on (took them off the 2500 and had to do some modification to the mounts to make them work on the 3500) and put the 5th wheel wire hookup in the bed. Oh, and I changed the plug on the camper to a RV type plug. Just waiting for it to cool off a little so I feel like camping. It was 98 here today.
