Finally turned the gas on and ran the refrigerator on Gas...Worked great! Then I decided to rebuild a water damaged rear corner of my pop-top roof. The work came out great! Even peeling back the aluminum and not having a single wrinkle. Wish I had taken "before" , "during" and "after" pictures as the work progressed I was contemplating selling this little TC, but now I've changed my mind and will use it this summer and fall and re-evaluate whether a Toy Hauler or this TC with my motorcycle trailer is the answer. I've been wanting to do this project for quite sometime and finally found the time last weekend. The two cabinets in the cab over has been empty since i took it home when it was new. My camper is a non-basement so climbing up there to store stuff is quite a task for me and DW so it's never been used as a storage Here is the picture before and after. ![]() Remove the mattress ![]() Here it is. Lots of room now. Probably 4 kids or 3 adults can sleep there now. Still shopping for memory foam mattress. Still have some work to do to relocate the reading light on the side wall. ![]() If I only knew I could have bought the Lance 8scs Sport during those time and I believe they are not making this layout any longer

Spent $5.79 to buy a 25' roll of insert tape at my local RV dealer. Removed and replaced all the plastic trim insert tapes....Took about 20 minutes! ![]() ![]() ![]() What a huge difference this made. Wish I had taken a "before" picture.... And then I replaced the roof vent that was nasty and the gear to raise was broken.....another 20 minutes

Made a holder for the BIC stick lighter on the door beneath the stove. Block of wood with a hole bored through. When the door is closed it can't pop out as the cabinet frame holds it in place.

Excellent use for old 10 speed tire tubes! I store the round leg for my table under the bunk on my Palomino Pop-Up truck camper. And it rolls around and makes a terrible clatter. I used a piece of 10 speed bike inner tube to secure it. First I cut a small slot in one of the uprights under the overhead bunk ![]() Using a finish washer and a screw, I attached a short section of inner tube with a knot in the other end. ![]() The rubber tube is simply stretched over the round leg and slid into the slot. ![]() ![]() Don't get much simpler! And when the bunk cover is down it locks the tube into the slot...Nice! |
