Folks, I would like to point out there are certain requirements when posting Photos on RV.NET. The photo size is very important. Photo maximum 640 pixel width. Screen Resolution for Pictures in Text The link above explains the details and why the Maximum Width of 640 pixles. I think it does an excellent job explaining. The link includes: "It is not yet a rule but the pictures posted within text should not exceed 640 pixel width, 480 pixel height or 100kb file size wherever possible. This is so that you do not handicap dial-up, cellphone users and those with smaller displays." For years, the 640 with has at least been the standard on the TC Forum, if not the rule. As the Moderator on the TC Forum I will continue to use the 640 with as the standard and the rule, until Admin instructs me to do otherwise. Photos exceeding the 640 pixel width will be edited (width or without comment) or deleted, depending on of oversize photos frequency. I understand on occasion, there will be an "oops", and a oversize photo will be posted. That is understandable, my concern is repeated oversize photos. Wayne Moderator |
