I've been a busy little bee!
I finished painting all the ugly grey window trim around the TC.
The brown stripes will be painted metallic black next.

Now I'm removing the leaking front window that was already cracked in the first place.
I'm going to put a sheet of diamond plate across the whole area to help clean it up and make it look flashy!!!
I'm also replacing the inside paneling and insulating it with the white foam board, pink foam still to expensive for me!
I'm also removing all of the pink fiberglass insulation I can in the cabover area as I go.

Gave the rig rig a good washing. I found my escape hatch cover cracked at four rivets. JB Weld to the rescue, maybe.

Well it wasnt today, But this past weekend i ran a test with my New Chicago 2 Cycle Generator that i got for Christmas. The 900 Watt Max did Everyting i wanted it to and didnt seem to stress it. I ran the Fridge, and all the Lights, and then periodically ran water just to test it. Went through a little more than 1/2 a tank in about 6 hours. I will add Pictures later whn i get home from work. I made a platform for the rear seat of the truck. The newer Fords have a storage contanier under the rear seat that is lockable but when you raise the seat the storage is wide open and no real way to put anything there. So I made this platform and it is lockable by the original Ford locks.

Here is the driver side of the platform

Here is the passenger side of the platform. It has a 2" foam pad for our dog to lie on.

I can still open the platform over the storage compartments and have tools in this one.

This is what I'm using on the driver side for storage. I have another one that stacks on top of this one. I put in some rings that are mounted to the platform so I can tie down the storage container and anything else I want to store here.

This one is from the dogs point of view with the storage contanier where she well get to ride.

My wife also made covers for the back on the seats and the console to keep them from getting scratched up from items stored in the back. We also put in a seat protector to cover the back seat to prevent damage to it also. This is the gray cover you see in the pictures.

I have not had time to finish off the frame and doubt that I well before we leave. I covered the top of the platforms with a felt material. The platforms are hinged and seperate in the same spots that the seat does making 2 sections to the platforms

This is is prep for our trip to Alaska this year.

Nice rear seat modification... I also take my two dogs with me and the entire back is foam with a comforter for them... the things we do for our furry kids!

Today I replaced both the black and grey tank valves. No more drips from the grey valve or a cup of water when I take the cap off! Yay!

Transferred ownership of my TC to my daughter. Health issues have kept me from using it except for very short trips so now it is owned by a very high-energy,outdoors loving girl who will use it as it should be. Sad day but a good day.

Well, not today, but last night. I removed all the garnish, screen, crank, etc. for my old roof vent over the dinette and drilled through the surrounding vent frame ceiling structure, tied into a ceiling light that uses led bulbs and pre-wired for my new Fantastic Vent fan that will be installed when the new roof goes on in a week!
