Still working on my Happijac, one is rusted all over, in and out. Got some new 1018 thrust bearings and washers, 25$ for 4, ordered a top assembly from Happijac. Should be ready for final sanding and painting.

I am looking for the best grease to put in, Happijac says they use White Lithium in the Acme type and Tri-lube in the ball bearing type, could not find any Tri-lube so far.

Did one of the jobs I hate the most...cleaned and serviced the black and gray water dump valves.

FIRST double checked to make sure the tanks were empty, then opened valves and inspected the seals. They are right at the back of our camper so they can be serviced without taking things apart.

A little light soapy water scrub of the seals to make sure there's no "residue" getting jammed in each time the valve is shut. Then a light coat of silicon spray on each of the handle shafts and life is good!

I changed oil & filter, spark plug in the generator. Off loaded the camper, touched up some caulking. Installed a bar on the screen door. Removed the a/c cover to stuff plastic bags in the area to keep the bees out.
Wash & wax is next. I want to replace my excape hatch cover only because of it's age.

Busy day today...washed camper, both motorcycles, and both trucks (Silverado for camper and Honda Ridgeline for daily drive). Had everything out for washing...so why not!

Want to stay ahead of the power curve since the month will fly by and then it's off to Alaska :-)

You will have a great time in Alaska. Just forget about trying to keep your truck clean up there.
