so how many rigs are currently sitting in the Whitset yard? Our job ends tomorrow so we were planning on heading that way.

We just came back from spending a few days in Austin.
We stayed at the Whitsett yard last night and went back to our gate this morning. One couple was going out to a gate when we pulled in yesterday(1 PM)and the other couple there went to a gate this morning.
The couple that were taking our place were being put on a gate also.

So as of this morning, there was no one waiting in the Whitsett yard.

Hi Everyone!!! We just started with GGS in Whitsett. So far so good! There is my husband & me and our little cat - Shai. We just started full-timing, bought the rig in December and were all moved in by early January. It is everything we thought and more! [emoticon]

Looking forward to the next Three Rivers ladies get together.

Thanks Mark.

We got our first gate last Sunday (we were on Blondie's while they were in Austin) and moved this morning to another one. We're starting to figure things out - our biggest problem is the internet - gotta get a booster. Will be taking care of that very soon!

Christi, good to see you on here! You'll learn a lot here and get to know a lot of the other gate guards. Be sure to check out the other forum also. It has several interesting threads.
Hope you are liking your new gate. We are just waiting to move to the new site Sunday morning.

If memory serves me correctly from last winter, Poth is about ½ way between Pleasanton and Floresville, so take your choice. Glad you got a quick assignment. Pleasanton has a nice HEB and a Super center, plus many other stores.
