The new company manager, Jay, has told the area managers they are NOT to be involved in assisting us with time off or any personal matters, so don't expect any help from them. If you do need something, go to your sales gal, as they appear to have more authority than this Jay, who is anti helping the gate guards.

(Above was a quote from another post)
I suppose this means we're not going to have a sit down with Jay to air our grievances?? (-:

We had Jay come here and he seemed very nice, was very interested in what could be done to make our stay better. Jay was very interested in what was going on and what he could do or get done for us. I was needing some desiel in my motorhome and Jay brought me out 50 gal when I could not get anyone else to deliver. I don't like to let the motorhome sit too long with 1/2 tank because of moister buildup.

Jay and his sson spent two days setting us up because of mis-communication with the land owner. I have nothing but the highest regard for him. I thought he was really good in all respects.

Good to know. There's always two (or three) sides to a story isn't there?

Just relaying the personal interaction I and another gate guard had with him in the last 2 days, plus the feedback we are getting from the service and mid management folks. No skin off my nose, but I no longer trust him and will not turn my back to him.

I was just saying Jay was very nice to us. If we were to ask for a relief person he may just say work it out the best you can !!! I just know he was very helpful to us that 1 time.

Do not go to Corpus, go to the Whitsett yard at exit #83 off I-37. There are FHU sites for the gate guards and they can get your paper work started, plus get your prints done before you drive down to corpus for the final paper work. That way Jamie will know you are there ready to work and in line for a position from the time you get there. Yes, they are still hiring and I doubt you will set in the yard more than a few days waiting for a gate.

Do we need to call ahead, or can we just show up out of the blue?
