Hello - I work at Good Sam. It is possible that we will create an android tablet version of our Good Sam Camping App sometime mid-2104 as we continue to develop the app for use on more platforms and models.

Hello Eaglelover - the link is correct - it takes you to the Good Sam Camping app in Google Play store. This replaces the previous Woodalls and Trailer Life Diretory apps. For users with iphone you can find the app here:

And, when using just your phone - just search for 'Good Sam Camping' when using the app stores.

ETyson: I followed your instructions and I was told I would need to install Itunes first. I did the download and then went to the Google App store and went to the Good Sam Camping App and got the message : your device is not compatible with this version. I am running Android 4.2.2 on a Dell venue 8 tablet. I have been working with computers for many years but this one has me bugged. Thanks; Frank
PS: Is the app only good with Android phones???

Hi Eagelover - most models that operate Android are covered, but the Android tablet is limited right now. It is expanding all the time.
Just to be sure you did download the Android version seen here at: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.goodsam.gscamping

Etyson: HiEllen, I am use to working with operating systems that are all the same. If it is said to work on windows 7 then it works on windows 7. I guess that doesn't apply to Android.I did follow your direction closely but the install button is dimmed out and a message says the app will not work on my unit. So I guess I will need to check back later. Thanks; Frank

Hi Frank, just Android and Apple are the platforms for now. We don't support Window's 7.
One tip too - as there is no didicated tablet version yet, be sure you are looking under apps for phone rahter apps for tablets and that way you can download the app to your tablet. You can still use the phone version on your tablet.

Hi Ellen: I am not asking about a windows 7 version. No matter how I search I get the same app and the same answer. Not compatible with my device!. As far as I know I have the latest version of android as it just updated itself.
I can't play with this app any longer until I see more people downloading it to tablets. Thanks for your help. Frank

Hi Frank - the app does work best with the majority of devices 2 years old or less.
Your device could be in the minority if it is less than two years of old, unfortunately. As we continue to develop we hope to add to our make our list of covered devices more complete.
