I have been busy selling the house, packing the truck and getting ready to move from Kodiak to Central Washington. I'll post some pictures soon of the "Mad-Max" looking rig leaving the island and taking the 6+ day ferry ride to Bellingham. I will be 58 ft by ferry measurements. Snow-plow F350 Camper and 23' Aluminum Fishing boat with 200hp Yamaha bringing up the back... Looking forward to new adventures back in my home state of Washington. My wife has decided HER camper (1971 Avion LaGrande) needs some love and attention. So we have been working on it and using it mostly this year. I'm hoping for some winter camping in the C11.

Fellow Avionistas, the time has come to “come out” with Argo, the all-aluminum camper! I’m ready to post pics of him in all his glory - at least I think he’s glorious! His maiden voyage is coming soon. Can someone please give me the best current photo posting process. I have a Photobucket account but... Is that the platform we’re using? Thank you. Dick |

flyte63....it happens every time, just when I am feeling pretty good about some repair I have done, someone posts what they are doing, makes me feel Like I haven't even graduated kindergarten in the Avion repair school....You are a brave fellow...just looking at it makes me tired. (might have something to do with this Florida heat and humidity),,,soldier on. yeh mon |

Well, well, well just as we are leaving for the San Juans in Colorado up pops Flyte63 with an above average restoration going on. Plus, the ultimate restoration of D1Trout's Argo appears to be poised for its debut. Hope I maintain bandwidth to stay in touch. Its looking up around here. Hey Rasta. |
