Topic: Avion truck campers - Hundreds of photos

Posted By: 67avion on 05/18/18 12:47pm

Well, well we have confirmation that Photobucket has come to its senses. I just signed up for $19.99 a year that includes 3rd party hosting. So, my photos will be protected for a while at least. I urge everyone else to sign up.

Howdy!
Where do you store it?( inside would be smelly I would think) Would a 2200 have enough oomph to run a ac?
Go gasoline or propane. What would keep it from developing legs and walking off?

I leave it in the camper with no problems, though when we are traveling it usually rides on the trailer. I have a chain to lock it up.

It seems like a front mounted carrier that had room for both the genset and the fuel would be the best solution. It might have room for other items as well.

Howdy!
Where are those pics of D1 all aluminum avion?
I am looking to install some solar panels to keep
the Engel running for a week in the heat without
shore power. Any preferences on the flexible
ones. Thinking of attaching to the roof with 3M VHB
high temperature tape. Also, what do yall use
to glue plywood to closed foam panels?

Went to load the C10 this evening and almost lost it. I still had 4-5 inches to raise and it began leaning to the drivers side. Got to almost 6 inches before I was able to first get a 4x4 wedged to the tub then tied the other side to a parked truck. Cinched up the line. Got everything stabilized to where I could’ve up a few inches to set it down on saw horses. Loosened the jacks to straighten them up but the jack points and the jack mounts are weak. We were hoping to go camping over the 4th. So now trying to figure out what to do next...
