Wishing everyone a happy and Healthy New Year... 69Avion....If memory serves me correctly, you had your avion mounted in just the 'bed' of a truck. I haven't been able to recover any photos of it... I am toying with that idea, as I am contemplating down sizing my dodge 3500 truck to maybe a Tundra,(or a gas truck) which could pull my c10, but not carry it. I was interested in seeing the build of your trailer/truck frame, and knowing what you did to beef up your suspension. And have you towed it yet and with what results. thanks |

Fellow Avionistas, I am glad to see the OEM ceiling light picture has shown up. I still have this handsome artifact and the offer stands - it’s free for shipping costs. Come on, you know you want it! Don’t make me recycle it! |

CA, thanks for your interest in the Argo project. I am just now getting back to work on the inside, building cabinets, installing the fresh inner skin, etc. I’ll put pics up as I have something to show for the New Year’s efforts. Onward! Dick |

I have decided that I will probably be getting rid of my dodge dully. And NOT wanting to get another diesel, I have been doing some "gooleing" and have seen some TC on trailers, often with other toys. My truck of choice is a Tundra which can pull, but not carry my C10. That is making me think that with an arrangement like that, It would also allow me to also carry my 2 dual sport motorcycles below the overhang. (having the bikes when travelling is a very appealing thought) However, would I be an embarrassment to the Avion family? Is the family still here???? Rasta |

We're still here just not as much since the photobucket fiasco... One of our other Avion guys built a trailer to carry his C-11. So putting it on a trailer is no big deal. Thanks! Howdy! This is simply ridiculous! If Avionistas are not going to blog here, then let’s move. Where to? Do we need our own website that we own and control? Ideas? (I for one like talking about Avions!) |
