Kayteg1, God bless you. The Firefox plug in is working and it appears that folks are archiving. Joe Ichi, PM me if you have any luck. Cajun, you too. Let's get this thing permanent.

I am, its just slow, while the plug makes the images visible, if you right click and save the image directly, it results in a broken file, so I have to load each image to photobucket and then download it.

Hello all...still here, but life is in the way of the repairs here for now. Could we not post and then archive at the wayback machine? Doesn't archive the thread but would archive any new entries? I can archive a few pages when I have time if it helps, just let me know where to put the pages and I'll post which pages i do.

Today as I was pulling out with the camper on the truck,to pack for my maiden trip, It seems that the shade canopy snagged the open louver window and broke the brackets that hinge the frame of the lower of the 3 windows.

has anyone found a source for a replacement window assembly for theses windows or a parts source
Pelland Enterprises has many parts for those Windows , worth a try .

Rastaman, I bought window moldings from both Pelland and Interstate RV Metal and Supply. I seem to recall that Interstate was a good outfit to do business with. They had things Pelland didn't and vice versa.
Good luck!

Thanks for the heads up guys ...I also called Cayo, he was anxious to help, so I am going to send him a template of the part that is broken on mine and see what he can come up with,

Has anyone her actually taken these older louver windows out and replaced it with a single hung type window????

Rastaman, I flirted with the idea of retrofitting more contemporary windows but concluded that it would change the look of the rig rather more than I was willing to. I suppose if I were living in the rig, good tight windows would trump appearance, but in normal camper travel mode, I reckon I can live with the inefficiencies.
The original windows have proven remarkably tight and wind proof in the 5000 miles I've travelled so far. All in clement weather however...

Fellow Avionistas, here's a treasure out of Argo before he became Argo - a genuine, factory installed, plastic ceiling light. Free to a good home for the cost of shipping!

Hi Folks
really small stepps i´m doing.
Last week i changed the "floor" from the cap over bed und the "front" wall (with the window)
I´m still looking the store my pix somewhere to show you the results.
I have one problem.
The alu sheet from the "main camper" on the front where its going around from the side to the front, where its "connectet" to the sheet which comes down from the cab over, (hope you understand me)
how can i connect this, how can i seal this?
Any ideas?
the prior owner tried to use fibreglas and duck tape.
You can see it right in front of the window
