I don't believe I've ever seen one with those characteristics. (You know - me and my perceived need for an 8 footer). Without the hangout of the back though, it would lose a lot of its look, not to mention major function placement, but it could be cute too! I mean if someone were to find one like that needing restored?) ![]() Literature that I've read on advertisements etc, say that there were 8 foot version of the C10, but i have never seen one nor even seen pictures. You have found the right place, and I agree with Ticki, that there is no reason to start another thread or post. All the Avion stuff happens here! ;-) |

![]() Hopefully this works. No, it is not a motovater. It is a C-11 that according to the vague information I got from the PO was modified at Cayo somewhere around 1982. The side extensions are aluminum riveted on, with storage space and the water tank in them. Reg. No is FI-093 |

Thanks all. I will get interior pics up soon. I happen to have a motorhome chassis that a C11 might fit on. Hmmmmmm

D1Trout, if only you had known about this!!!! C11, does it have a pass through or direct entrance to the coach from the interior? Interior photos please. Your first survey should be of the wood on the floor, the wings and the cabover. Thats where the problems with leakage are usually located. With the floor, start near the rear door. With the cabover, directly below the front window and just at the joint between the cabover and the cabin. With the wings check your tie downs and jack connections for any softness. (on edit) of course you don't have tie downs or jack connections. Forget that. Let us know what you find. |

I did end up getting a referral to one within a couple hours of me so I went to go see it this AM. It is in need of a freshing up thats forsure. They were relatives of the owner and not sure if the owner would sell or not. It has not moved for 5 - 10 years given the level that rims of the truck it was on have sunk into the ground. My concern is that they might think it is worth alot of $$, but when the guy told me these 'dont leak' I realized he did not have any idea what he was talking about. It was a C-11 and a nice exterior skin but oxidized. Only some small dents on one of the top corners. I will keep looking in the interim. |
