Wyocuttergirl wrote: I still think that since Avion was the brainchild of 2 brothers camping in Yellowstone at Fishing Bridge, we should do a TC gathering there SOON!!! Cool. Somebody who is going to plan the vintage TC gathering (errr Avion). And right here in my neck of the woods! ![]() I'll camp a few doors down so as to not detract. We did Fishing Bridge a year or so ago and it of course requires hardside campers only. None of you have done a pop-up conversion have you? Seriously, Fishing Bridge has hookups and the spaces are very close but check out a satellite photo, they did a real cool job to give a feeling of privacy none-the-less. There are more "back to the earth" camping grounds, and much cheaper, but there's that whole historical thing one must respect. |

I heard from Dick that things had slowed down a bit, but that he and Annie were going to try out the camper soon, even if its not finished. 66C10 wrote: Things are finally shaping up and I'll be getting started back on the C10 soon. Looks like the crew is rousing itself again. My camper is in the shop with (I hope) electrical issues. Then its on to improving the suspension in the next few weeks. We plan on traveling into Arkansas the latter part of this month. D |

Has anyone heard from Chris (Avion C-11)? The last I heard, he was selling his C-11, but I never heard if he actually did. He sure was doing some nice work on it.

Found a post on the airforums about this. A TV show called Flipping Ships took an Avion C10 and built it into a boat. I haven't found the full episode yet, but found these two video clips: Finding the C10 The Finished Boat Pics: ![]()
