You need to host your pictures on a place like photobucket and link the image (IMG) to here.

Have a question for all my Avion brethren . Do any of you have the original storm sashes for the windows ? I would like to make some and a detail of the frame wood help . It might be that a glass shop would have something close .

Ticki, I have them for mine, give me a day or two and I'll dig a couple out.

Ok, I'm a dummy... What is a storm sash? Is it a C-11 thing, a C-10 thing, or an Avion thing? And what does it do? Storm window?

Thanks!

X2. Whats a storm sash?

I may not be able to post pics but I can answer the storm sash question !!!. At least on mine ( 1968 c11 ) on the inside of each window there are little clips on the window frames. These clips are designed to hold in a thin piece of plexiglass to essentially make a poor mans double pane window for cold weather camping. The clips rotate so it's easy to install/remove the plexiglass based on time of year. My camper has all the clips installed but the previous owner did not provide any plexiglass except the one installed on the front window at the truck cab level. I will eventually make pieces but that's far down the to do list.

When Dennis has a chance to dig them out all will be revealed .

I noticed along the edge of the frame, not the storm insert but the part that screws to the wall, Hehrc567 221 200.

Thanks Dennis , that's a big help . Very similar to the screen frame but with a slot for the plexiglass . Now to find the right extrusion .
