If it was that nice rotary unit like the ones that used to be on air stream trailers, I just threw one away a couple weeks ago.

It's a side or back mount . It's to the left of the door and goes into a 1-1/4 tube. I have everything but the head , the part that spreads apart. Older Airstreams had one similar .

The antenna was mounted on the back of the camper, left of the door:

Inside was a lever for directing it towards the available TV stations:

You can imagine how cool this was in 1967.

Send a photo. I'm not sure what you're missing aside from the antenna.

It seems like a small detail, but its not. The darn "thang" that remains just stares you in the face. What to do?
