Found out where that little square of white plastic came from last summer. It had broken off one of the cooker corner clamps that keep the cooker tight to the counter. Of course, it was the one in the back corner. Attempts to glue the two pieces were futile, wrong glue, insufficient "meat" at the breakage points. So I took 3/4" ply and cut out a new one, drilled a 1/8" hole for the bolt, added a nut to the bolt and "Bob's your Uncle". Now all I need is a decorative cap to snap over the bolt head, like the other three.

Stan909. Nice job. Simple is good, and easy to fix if something happens later. |

I ran the diesel engine and propane generator to keep them happy. We discovered that a field mouse had been partying in the two lower drawers next to the fridge. First time for that. I guess the 'green' winter kept our furry friend in good spirits. Hmm. Where did he/she get into the PW Plateau TS.Under the sink area? THey are said to crawl up a tire and find an opening then go in and party. If this sunshine continues it will be RV time again. We can take the mouse.Holly the Coton de Tulear likes hide and seek!!

You had to mention mice didn't you!! I haven't seen any telltale signs, plus I have been using my unit off and on all winter. Since the weather is starting to get nicer I think it is time to head out tomorrow and give it a good going over to check all the nooks and crannies to make sure that none of the little critters found their way in. We have been on the road for over a month and getting comfortable gets more acute by the day. ![]() Finding comfortable chairs and a place to store them is one of the Holy Grails of Class B RVing. I've gone through at least four sets of chairs of all kind. Currently we have been traveling with the very compact Xpress lounger chairs that fold up to the size of a pizza box and can be conveniently stored just about anywhere. The problem is they are not that large and you can only sit upright in them. In other words you can't relax. I had always been envious of the larger RVs when they got their bulky comfortable chairs out like the zero gravity loungers. Where to store them? Then in a Cabelas I saw one on sale for $39. I succumbed. I assumed I would be able to carry only one inconveniently inside the B and it would be in the way on rainy inside days. I bought it anyway. I got to experimenting and discovered in my Great West Van Legend that there was just enough gap space between the sofa and rear doors to store it upright without taking out any existing storage space I was using. I realized that when the sofa was lowered into a bed that the chair acted as a bed headboard. My pillow previously had tended to slip over the edge into that gap. The bonus. Two will fit so I am going to buy a second one. Finished my sink project behold! Water! Old fashioned hand pump.I placed it at the front of the sink to keep people from using it as a handle to get in and out of the van.
