I might suggest your service garage check the FUEL FILTER as they can collect moisture and too much can affect your fuel injection. I intend to have the fuel filter replaced but garage can advise on this. Many people forget about fuel filters. Al Thanks Al ... I went through the service manuals and actually made a list of items that need attention. The fuel filter was one of them. I want the Mercedes dealer to give me an itemized list of what they are going to do. This dealer just started servicing the Sprinter so I'm not too sure what their experience is ... but it saves me a 3 hour drive to the next closest dealer that I would go to. Your Mercedes Benz warranty and maintenance manuals should tell you what you need to do at the 10,000 mile service intervals. They have them online for 2010 and newer at this Mercedes Benz Sprinter Owner's Manuals. They've been pretty consistent over the years so much of it would apply to older Sprinters as to what to expect.

Well, in Utah it's finally on the cusp of spring. We've done a number of things as we prepare our Class B for summer. Since cabinet space is at a premium in any Class B, why not store some things on the counter top? We decided to attach both our toaster and coffeemaker to the counter top with a combination of cutting boards and velcro. A very firm attachment and they do not rattle. Which makes us both very happy. ![]() Draining the water heater was always a pain. Even though I have a crow-foot which will reach behind heat shield, the drain plug was still difficult to remove and re-install. We attached a quick release valve via a stainless steel hose. Now all we need to do is release the pressure and open the valve. ![]() We've always wanted more input regarding tire pressure. We opted for a Doran 360 RV TPMS system. ![]() * This post was edited 03/06/13 02:14pm by dtbrimhall * ![]() |

dtbrimhall Most ingenious. How does the Doran work and where can I buy one? Do you also need valve sensors to replace the valve stem covers? Would be nice to have on my 06 PW Plateau. |

Would be nice to have on my 06 PW Plateau. I also use the Doran TPMS and have found it very useful in monitoring the tire pressure. I purchased mine directly from the manufacturer. Don't know if it was any cheaper or not. Here is a link to their web site: http://www.doranmfg.com I tired adding an image but this site seems to have the stranges way of adding images and I couldn't do it. |

Karsty: When I add images to my posts I get the images from my facebook pages. I right click on the image (while looking at it in Facebook) and select Copy Image Address. I then paste the image address into the area that calls for in when authoring a post. May or may not help but it's worth a try. IMPORTANT: If I copy and past the image address from the URL line in the browser it NEVER works. I ALWAYS have to RIght Click on the image and select Copy Image Address. Ah, but I've repeated myself.

I'm not sure why RV.NET wants the images from a web site or something. Most of my pictures are on my computer. Most FORUMS just let you browse to the photo on your hard drive and then post it. Not too worry ... I might try and figure something out later. I'll look at the FB thing ... but I don't post a lot of pictures on FB that I would be wanting to post here. ![]() |

I believe their restrictive polity on images has to do with space. Some forums like the Sprinter Forum allow you to upload a few images and then use them in your post. Other forums allow you to have a directory of uploaded images. RV Net wants them linked to another site. I suppose their philosophy is let the other guy provide the space and we will just link to it.
