The weather is finally getting nice and the campsites are open and the flooding under control so I started to prep for a camp trip-the last 3 or 4 months my B has been in the front driveway and Ive only driven it a little. While inspecting it I noticed a front tire starting to de-lam. I checked the DOT code and found the tire was a 2001-WOW I got a lot of use out of that one my spare was a 2006 so I bought new tires for the front today. I think when I bought the tires in 2006 the shop put one of the newer tires on the spare and left the older one on the front- I should have checked but bought matching tires so I didn't notice

We drove through National Bison Range in NW Montana and while it was very interesting, it was also very dusty so poor Trekki needs a bath.

Checked all the systems, loaded it, heading up to Seattle for a couple of Mariner baseball games, over the North Cascades and back home.

1. Put up lace curtains to hide the seats when I'm camped. The Luggable Loo lives between the seats when on-site, so wanted to soften the look a bit. A girly thing but I like it for camping without DH.

2. Tonight we took the doggies with us in our SMB when we ate out at a local restaurant. Cool breezes for a summer in GA and had the fans going with our little inverter/windows open to keep things even cooler. For fun we set up our iPhone and iPad with Skype to monitor the dogs while eating. There are better options for that for sure, but it was fun to take advantage of the technology we have to do that.

Replaced the right taillight lense that someone smashed (probably with the exterior mirror of their truck). This weekend I'll remove the new one and repaint the paint that was chipped away around the edges of the lense along with a good chuck of the taillight lense.

I installed my Garmin voice command GPS and my back up camera in my 1996 Coach House 192TB. I also installed a digital converter for the analog TV/VCR. I could not find an AC/DC TV that would fit in the TV closet so I did the next best thing. Reception in my drive way gets me 13 off channels but not ABC, NBC or CBS. Disappointed!

Cleaned out and reorganized the storage and threw out or repaired stuff that I no longer use or can not use and went through the closet and washed older stuff and whittled the clothes down to the basics ( again )-seems like every 2 years there's twice as much stuff on board than I started with. Filled the water tank and gas tank and ran the generator and checked the circuits and appliances

Ran the generator for 1 1/2 hours today with the A/C running. It was 90 degrees here today with high humidity.....yuck.
