Gave it a bath. Especially the awning. It really needed cleaning. We used a solution I read in an RV How To book by Bob Livingston.

1/4 cup of dish soap plus 1/4 cup of bleach mixed in 5 gallons of warm water.

We soaked both sides of the awning, and rolled it back up and let it sit for a couple of hours.

It looks pretty nice right now.
Yesterday, I exercised the genny.

I just bought a 192TB which looks like yours. I don't understand the
"insta-hot" water system and wonder if you have that system? My couch has no manuals. I hope you can help!
Thanks, Jerry

Mine is a Roadtrek. I'm not sure what your's is. Possibly a Coachhouse?

I'm not sure what the "insta-hot" water system is, but it sounds like a system that heats (warms?)water on demand. It doesn't have a tank to hold hot water.

Mine has a Surburban 6 gallon propane hot water heater.

Thanks for your response. Sorry I took your roadtrek for a coach house which is what I have. I owned mine only one week and am learning a lot but not enough.

Took our new PW Excel out for her maiden voyage on Saturday to Tuckahoe State Park (We picked her up on Wednesday from the dealer). Checked out all of the systems to make sure they worked. Had a little problem with the gas on the fridge but after a quick call to the dealership they figured out we needed to bleed the air out of the gas lines by lighting the stove.

We also started to learn the dance that is necessary in a class B to manuever around each other. I am 6'3" and my wife is 5'11". We had an absolute blast trying to figure out the best way to move. I sure am glad we like each other[emoticon]

One of our neighbors with a pop-up and a screen room came over and commented that they envied us. All you do is back in, plug in, pull out 2 chairs and the cooler and your done. The neat part about that is they are right.

We stopped on Sunday at a lake and pulled out the grill for a picnic lunch. Maggie was comfortable inside with the air and genne running while we went for a bike ride. Got home and cleaned her up to be ready for next weekend.

By last night we both had come to the conclusion that we did the right thing moving from a class A to a class B. We are looking forward to next weekend

Jvan, You might try looking on the water heater and getting the exact name and model number of the unit and using google to search for the company. Then check their website for a manual.

We're prepping today for a two week trip with our son and two grandsons (2 & 6 years). We will take along a tent for them. [emoticon] But, we will have to put up with goldfish, slim jims, pretzels and other snacks spilling all over. We have a supply of DVDs to watch on the road. It will be an experience. [emoticon]

The electric sofa has three seat belts. The center is only a lap belt which is all that is needed for a child seat. So I devised this attachment to hold the seat. It is a 3 ft. steel stranded cable I had made up at the hardware store with loop ends that fasten to industrial strength carabiners that fasten to the seatbelt anchors. Everything is rated for greater than 350 lbs.

Substituted a bar faucet for the oem faucet. Now I don't have to remove the sink cover to get a glass or pot of water. installed a permanent and cheap TP holder because the fancy expensive one was useless (more or less). Changed two cam locks because the shorter oem threaded threaded barrels made for a too tight fit. So much so that I broke a key off in the lock to my fresh water fill compartment. Now all the locks are snug but not overly tight.
Happy days are here again! :-)
