Topic: What Did You Do To Your Class B Today ?

Installed new(reconditioned)12 volt 19" RCA LCD/DVD combo tv in my 96 Saratoga. I also bought an auxiliary speaker for it. Thhhepeaker is a Vivitar mini rechargeable speaker designed for a cell phone. It sounds much better than the TV'S speakers and was only $9.00 at Wal-Mart. The TV was only $132.00 delivered. It is sure hard to find AC/DC TV'S. I could have gone to camping world but the Jensen equivalent is $400.

Today we found out why our 14/14 Pleasureway was sporadically balking at going into 6th gear--apparently there's some little stepper motor, they call it, that operates some louvres that modulate air flow in the air intake manifold. Pretty easy to change it out--but not so easy to get. The part is on it's way from Germany.

[emoticon] wanting to flush the pink stuff out of the pipes, but lows this past week have been in the 20's. [emoticon]

After shoveling about 5 inches of snow from the driveway and clearing off the Roadtrek yesterday, I headed South today, leaving behind record lows in the Washington, DC area. Made it to South Carolina (still cold tonight) and will get to Florida tomorrow. Ultimate destination - Jetty Park in Cape Canaveral for a week of spring training baseball! And much warmer temperatures!

Installed a Kenwood Bluetooth stereo to replace the factory unit. I can't believe what an improvement it makes. I had no idea just how bad a performer the factory unit in the Traverse was. Then there's the ability to stream music, hands free phone, etc. The factory speakers sound like a new sound system. And all for $100 plus some installation parts.

I have been looking for a shelter to be set up under my awning so that I am screened in on all sides.I have a sprinter van.The bed is fine for my wife and I but our Lab thinks he should be there as well.I would like something where the dog and I could sleep outside of the van on an extended trip.I have seen a number of European shelters but they seem too big.We like to travel around and don't stay too long in one location. An ideal setup would be something that attaches to the edges of the slide out awning but I have not been able to locate something that matches.

Just got back from a long trip to Scottsdale a couple of weeks ago. So got propane and diesel in preparation for a horse show in Ft. Worth this week.

I'm now at Jetty Park in Cape Canaveral, FL. Nice place, and I spotted four other Roadtrek 190s in the campground - a record in my limited excursions. The Roadtrek did very nicely getting us to Space Coast Stadium to see the Washington Nationals. Paid the car rate for parking, too.

Hi Folks,

Today I finally got my Roadtrek 190V out of the snow drift. In January, before Sheila and I left for Florida, I parked it along a fence in my driveway. We were gone most of February so with all the snow in the Boston area, it got buried. When I returned, I could just see the top. It had more than three feet of snow on the top and I could not get to the doors. On top of that, directly behind the RV along the street there was a six foot high pile of snow. (I have two roads of snow plowed in front of the house and driveway. If during a storm, if I am out, The highway dept. makes a second cut and takes most of the snow away. I remove the rest with my snow blower. (Man's best winter toy)).

So when I returned I called the highway department and asked if they could make a pass at my pile. Nothing happened for a week. God helped me by sending warm weather and rain. So this morning, I worked with a shovel and snow blower, and by noon the pile was moved and I backed the RV out.

I then took it to the car wash, and washed it. This evening, I took it out and "exercised" it.

Another season is here.
