I especially like the idea of reflective tape, such a simple thing to do! Also, the extra shelf for the BBQ bracket, water tank drain extension has been on our todo list and a few others things I should do. The laundry cover replacement works as do using the original cover to make extra shelves. I've seen table tops that match our camper material at the dealer, should give this some thought as to where I could use it. How did the laundry lid cut? Did you have to use something special to give a clean cut, did the edge crack up any? Great demonstration of what can be done to make these TT our personal space! Enjoy.

The lid cut quite nicely on my tablesaw, I am a cabinetmaker by trade so it helps I have all the tools for these kind of mods. But as long as you have a sharp carbide toothed blade with at least 40 teeth you should be fine.

Thanks for uploading your pics. They are a great inspiration! I'm intrigued by your satellite and WiFi antennas. Would you mind describing how you've got them setup? Did you have to do anymods to make the satellite connection to your TV? And the WiFi antenna allows you to pull in more signals from inside the RV? Can you estimate how much range you have?

I got the Wifi equipment from C.Crane(www.ccrane.com) in the US and they estimate up to 3/4 of a mile, I can't verify that but I do know a few weeks back I was in a campground with Wifi and fellow campers all around me were struggling to get a decent signal on their laptops and I was streaming video no problem ! The satellite is VuQube(www.kingcontrols.com) which has a remote for easy sat. pointing and I rigged up an alum. angle on both sides of my maxair vent and cooresponding angle on sat. dish base that hook together on roof, its not secure enough for travelling so need to get out my fold out ladder to put it up each time but it goes up in minutes. The cabling for both I ran through the area where my electrical hookup cable stores and then was able to feed the cabling up through the wall using the existing tv cable plate hole in the wall as my pull through point and then made new cutouts and installed new wall plates for both so I now have 3 plates in a row on my wall, the orginal tv hookup plate, my sat. hookup plate and the Wifi hookup plate. It was a little tight working in the confined area to pull the cables but a little patience goes along way. I then have the wifi outlet cabled to a wifi repeater in the trailer so if I decided to sit outside with the laptop. I am connecting to the wifi repeater which in turn is connected to the antenna. Hope I am making sense here if not let me know and will try to explain better. I could also take some more detailed pics which would help clarify. I must admit I really do enjoy doing the mods and make the trailer our own. My worry is one day there will be nothing left to do and I will have to sit down and relax ! ![]() |

I pulled the mirror from the back of the tv and found that the f type connector had pulled from the coaxil. I replaced the cable, added a vga (computer monitor) cable to the tv while I was in there and now have my 24 channels on both tvs again, plus can hook up the laptop for my movie on digits.

Has anyone installed the wingman on the antenna yet? Is it worth the time?

Nice adds. I made some notes for mine.... Has anyone added or looked into adding a roof vent in the bedroom? Thinking about adding one in ours for additional light and ventilation. Thanks 2014 Heartland 305RW Road Warrior 2012 Ford F250 Lariat |

I just talked to my service tech at the dealer and I think he is trying to blow smoke up my rearend. He told me that a 2 inch diameter bubble in the middle of the awning was normal. I have had several RVs and have never seen this before, but then again Im no expert. I also had him check out the rubber roof, I noticed some bubbles around the edges. He said it was probably due to the heat. I have not had a rubber roof, so I really dont know. Any input?
