Well its time...We are going to hook up our 2007 Starcraft 21SSO and drive to NJ to swap it out for our 2012 Premier 31BHPR . I am like a little kid, can't wait. Hope Camping World has eveything squared away.
My friend went there lastweekend to pick up his Laredo and it was a disaster. He had to leave it.
Will let you know

This forum and this thread have been tremendous with the information. Thanks all.
Jim

We had that exact same excitement (and concern) two weeks ago when we went to pick ours up... It's like Xmas in May!!

Good luck!

Picked up our 31BHPR Wednesday. Out for the "shake down cruise" this weekend.

We woke up this morning to no lights and a dead battery. All the 120V stuff is working fine. Nothing (0V) on the output side of the converter. According to the service rep ag our dealership they've had problems with the 55A output converters from WFCO. Haven't contacted the mfg, or Keystone yet, but the dealer says the can't get me in until June 1. They have one I can purchase for $224 but advise me that replacing it could cause warranty issues in the future. Anyone had any issues with their converters? Any luck getting this resolved in less than 3 weeks. I'm using a battery charger to refresh the battery occasionally. Don't want to continue operating thus way until June.

Also, is the rear TV hooked up to cable too, or just the antenna? I can't get the TV to program the cable stations, and get a lousy picture on the Front TV with the booster on (need it for the rear TV w/over the air channels).

I know, shouldn't be watching TV in the new camper, but it's been raining.

Hope everyone enjoys the Mother's Day Weekend!

The rear TV is not connected to cable. I put a PS2 back there so that the kids can watch DVDs.

I'm sorry for your problems. In my opinion, this is a brand new trailer that you haven't even owned for 1 week - the dealer should accommodate you and bump you ahead of the other repairs. Have you complained to the manager or owner? Have you contacted Keystone and complained to them? It is absolutely unacceptable.

One of the biggest reasons I bought my camper from my local family owned dealership is because they take care of the customer and they prioritize repairs on trailers that have been purchased directly from them. My trailer is currently there for several warranty repair items as a result of our shakedown trip and they were estimating June time frame for our repairs. Most of the issues are small, but the biggest of the issues is significant - bad binding sound when deploying the big slide. I told them that I wouldn't consider using the trailer again until it is fixed and they asked when my next schedule trip is (May 27th) and have committed to fixing everything by May 24th.

Hmmm,I didn't realize this, I've never tried to get cable channels back there, not that I would watch cable on that one, mostly will be used for my son to watch a movie. But if I ever actually wanted to use it to watch it while sitting outside I'd probably want cable hooked up to it.

That was my thought. My girls wanted to watch a cable show last weekend, but honestly I was thinking about how I planned to use it when entertaining friends. I guess I don't understand why it wouldn't be connected to cable. I guess I could always use a splitter and another cable.

I decided to bypass the Dealer, and Keystone and go directly to the Mfg., WFCO.

They we're great! Called 7:15 Mon morning and their VERY friendly staff walked me through the process. It typically takes 3-4 weeks, but if i was willing to give them my credit card info (just in case i didn't return the defective unit) the would do their best to ship it same day. Well, it took me about 15 min to fill out the forms and fax them in. Within about 15 minutes i received a call letting me know that they needed proof of purchase information, and that i didn't need to pay for 2nd day air (i opted for it to make sure i'd have it by Thursday for camping this weekend) since they were in Indiana, i was in Ohio, and they'd make sure it was shipped Monday.

WOW! Great Service! i received a tracking number within the hour, and was pleased to see it sitting on my porch when i got home this evening.

5 connections and 4 screws later we're up and running!!!!!!

I just can't say enough about Christie and the whole team at Cheng USA, Inc., the WFCO distributor.

What an outstanding experience!!! Honestly, World Class!

I understand the dealer is busy, but it would have taken about a 15 minute committment to assess the problem and get the parts ordered.

I just wanted to share this to thank WFCO and inspire my fellow campers not to let something like a NO from the dealer get in the way of enjoying a RV. Thanks for the suggestion to lean on the dealer. It was my 2nd choice. BTW, i did keep the June apt, i'll just use it for the other little stuff that we found on the shake down cruise. On that note, If you're picking up your RV, you might consider getting a service committment and appointment from the dealer while they are in "Yes" mode.

Anyone from the Bullet family install the Steadyfast Stabilizers?

I think that I got the picture posting thing down, maybe. Here is what I did with the plexiglass over the outdoor kitchen tv.

The measurements were 25W x 21h. The felt is on the plexi glass not the camper. I hope that this does it. If anyone comes up with anything better, Im always up for suggestions. Sorry I didnt know it was going to be so big.
